Ted Cruz says the Middle East was better off under Mummaar Gaddaffi and Saddam Hussein. Can that possibly be true? Not only is it true but the numbers behind it will stun you! Reality Check!

I have come to a conclusion that Democracy is not fit for every nation. In the Middle East --- it is best to have secular dictatorships control power. Iraq under Saddam was preferred to what Iraq is now. Libya is now a terror haven; it was better under Qaddafi than what it is now. In regards to Syria; i used to be on the fence regarding the civil war. Now i realize it is important to have Asad in power.

The thing is we already knew what you've mentioned in your post, and the sad part is that the United States knew it all too well as well.

Now on topic, do you seriously think that the United States does certain things for the betterment of nations that it get involved in? If you are so naive then you need to do some soul searching my friend. Not all slogans of democracy, justice and equality actually mean what they are defined as in the dictionary. State Department has it's own dictionary, you'd be surprised how radically different that is from Webster's.

Obama's failed foreign policy initiatives , my friend. You cannot initiate social engineering in an already war torn region. That is what Obama tried doing with his support of Arab Spring in '11. Look at the results.

The situation in Syria is due in part to a proxy engagement with various factors from Al Sham, Al Nusra factions supported by various GCC states and also from the United States. The issue goes back to the effects of interventionalism.

Very true, I know some of my friends whose parents parents were working in Iraq & Libya, they use to tell me story of 80s. facilities, development, freedom which all are ruined because of USA.

Sometimes I feel that USA had planned to remove secular Islamic countries and supported fundamentalist in Arab world, because they never wanted Islamic countries to be technologically advance to challenge Christianity as it was and is only religion capable to challenge the Christianity
