China: 'Pakistan is our Israel'

When a US delegate once confronted a Chinese diplomat about Beijing's uncompromising support for Pakistan, the Chinese reportedly responded with a heavily-loaded sarcastic remark: "Pakistan is our Israel".

And that was a sarcastic comment made by Chinese diplomat to show their love for Pakistan!

At what cost though? Giving up territory which doesn't even belong to them (Aksai Chin + Trans Karakoram Tract); just to earn their favour and friendship? Is this the friendship you boast about?
Would you give the roof of your house, or a couple of windows to your neighbour to have excellent relations? Think not.

You are entitled to your opinion. Like I told you before, you do not represent the majority view of Pakistanis and that makes me doubt your credentials as a Pakistani. Maybe you are a False Flagger ?

Pakistanis having some nerve pressed (?) making ad hominem attacks, diatribes, killing the messenger and off topic remarks. Where are the moderators ?

Are you a Kashmir irredentist? If China and Pakistan ever pry off Indian-occupied Kashmir, would you demand the Buddhist areas of the East (Ladakh)? This would go against the two-nation theory...

We already got the nukes, so we don't need them anymore:bunny::bunny:
You just contradicted yourself.

Secondly, how do you know if you have them? And even if you do have them i can say with certainty that its Pakistani scientists and engineers who are in command and control of those nI()cces, not Saudis.

Hope this helps :

China maintained control over more of the disputed territory, but the agreement overall was more favourable to Pakistan. China kept roughly 5,309 square kilometres it contested in the Shaksgam valley. However, it transferred control of some 1,942 square kilometres of territory in the Oprang valley to Pakistan, which also maintained control over an additional 1,554 square kilometres of territory it already held. On balance, Pakistan seems to have gained more from the deal, as the final borderline followed closely the line of actual control advocated by Pakistan. China not only abandoned its claims to the Hunza, but Pakistan also received grazing areas in the Prang and Bund Darwaza valleys, the Kharachanai salt mine, and the town of Sokh Bulaq. In addition, Pakistan kept control over three-fourths of K2 as well as six of seven disputed mountain passes. Finally, Pakistan transferred no territory already under its control to China. More than any other dispute, China’s compromise with Pakistan was linked to the China-India conflict. Upon discovering the forward policy, China moved to open talks with Pakistan despite rebuffing earlier Pakistani efforts toward negotiation dating from the late 1950s.” Four field teams surveyed the border, erecting 40 boundary markers. Demarcation work was completed and a protocol signed. M. Taylor Fravel. Strong Border Secure Nation. Cooperation and Conflict in China’s Territorial Disputes.

Stop inventing reasons for why Chinese people hate Pakistanis, your government is only friendly with them to make Pakistan at as a buffer against the scary Indians. As the poll suggest, the sino-Pakistani relationship is very unhealthy. Just like the US-Israeli relationship.

Clearly you are no Saudi. Your logic and reasonings are all Indian and I suspect you are an Indian False Flagger Troll.

Pakistan was the ONLY country to make China stronger from the weak humiliating China old days. Chinese didn't forget it.

33% Chinese are positive on Pakistan and 40% have negative views on Pakistan.

Some self respect might improve those numbers. The kind of unequal sycophancy some pakistanis show towards china is shameful.

india holds more of Kashmir than China does.

What do you want Pakistan to do? Fight both China and India over Kashmir? Pakistan is not an emerging superpower like China.

And we know that Gilgit-Baltistan is not historically part of Kashmir that indians claim, so it could be true that Aksai Chin is not historically part of Kashmir as China claims. China can have Aksai Chin. Pakistan just want Muslim majority areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

The smartest thing Pakistan ever did was give Aksai Chin to China so that we have a powerful partner. If we wouldn't have given Aksai Chin to China then india would have grabbed it just like it grabbed Siachen in 1984.

That's not my point buddy; China can claim anything it likes.
But none of the territories they were claiming belonged to them anyway; it's our job not to give pieces of our land away.

But the people in power in China love Pakistan and that what matters. Chinese people dont pick their rulers.

You have two nuclear power neighbors who hate you and have joined hands against you. One from your north-west and the other from your north-east.

Haha you caught me  I need to hide my identity even better from now on :waves flag on Uganda:

You change flags faster than I change underwear. I am having difficulty keeping up with which country you belong to this week or today. Last week you had a Pakistani and UK flag. Today your flags are Uganda and UK.

That's it; you got it correct :)

We only gave China our territory because we can't bear to have them as enemies. It's not real friendship and never was.
