A Peep Into Arakan History

u r so anti muslim :disagree:

No, I am anti terrorists...

Read carefully, These muslims are not loyal to Burma, from 1947 to 1961 they tried to merge into Pakistan (Like they are doing in Kashmir), Later they shifted there goal to create a new country (Like chechan) , Now they have colluded with Al-Quaida and trying to disturb Burma (Like afghani oman and Pakistani)...

What as a bangladeshi you will do if Hindus of Bangladesh try to break you and merge into India????

.
Yes. People often bring up the subject of why Rohingya were not recognised by the central government as being Myanmar citizens after WW2. During that time, Rohingyas fought against the Burmese on the British side, if not directly then by offering support. After independence, they mounted several insurrections and flew the flag of Pakistan. This not only enraged the Arakanese but also the Burmese. I have no doubt that the threat of islamic insurrection is at the crux of the current problem. It doesn't help, ofcourse, that there are many is the islamic world that wish to radicalise these people even further.

That is exactly the objective.

So better gather your troops and stand alert.

u r so anti muslim :disagree:

Well if supporting you lot means demographic invasion of other cultures, then yes we are.

Daud Khan Karrani, the Pathan Sultan of Bengal was defeated in 1576 by the troops of Mughal Emperor Akber of Delhi at the Battle of Rajmahal. But, the war continued between the Bengal Chieftains (Baro Bhuyan) and Delhi until 1605, when Mughal military Governor Shaikh Islam Khan won the war against the Pathan Chieftains.

During this long period of war, bloodsheds and anarchy, the Arakani (known as Moghs) captured not only the present day greater Chittagong Zilla, its domain also extended upto Barisal Zilla. All the islands in the BoB went under their domination. Chittagong region was always a point of tug of war among Bengal, Tripura and Arakan. This port City always changed hands.

When Shayesta Khan, the maternal uncle of Emperor Aurangzeb, became the Subedar of Bengal (can't remember the year) he drove away all the Mogh forces from the occupied territories and extended his domain upto Teknaf. Shayesta Khan renamed Chittagong as Islamabad. Chittagong and Teknaf remain a part of Bengal since that time, although the name Chittagong prevailed over Islamabad.

Just know about shayesta khan,

He was kicked out of Pune by Shivaji Maharaj, Shivaji personally cut three fingers of shahesta in fight and he had to run from deccan towards north.

Mirza Abu Talib شاه خان, better known by Shaista Khan) was a Subahdar and a General in the Mughal army. A maternal uncle to Emperor Aurangzeb,[3] he served as the Mughal governor of Bengal from 1664 to 1688, and was a key figure during the rule of his nephew, the emperor. Under his authority, the city of Dhaka and Mughal power in the province attained its greatest heights. In the year 1660, he was sent to participate in the struggle against the Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. However, he was defeated by Shivaji and lost one of his sons.

Military conquest is not a part of your culture or history. You should instead concentrate on contributing to Yakhine Pyi's democratic future with domestic servants, cheap construction workers, garment manufacturing and Indian restaurants.

Everything, but leave out Indian restaurants - please, please.

Have you ever suffered Sylheti Mughlai or Sylheti Indian of any sort? That is inhuman and barbaric punishment.

But spare the Indian restaurants from Bangladeshis.

LOL. You should get a job as a stand-up comedian.

Enjoy the below numbers which shows that Bangladeshis are wealthier than Myanmarese and the BD economy is forecast to grow quicker into the future:

Report for Selected Countries and Subjects

And with the 3 times higher population of BD compared to your country the time will be coming soon when BD will be able to have a military that will be able to annihilate yours. I reckon around 2025 should be an optimal time for BD to take back Arakan.

You clearly have been misguided by secular wankers in our government and don't remember our history. We ain't invaded anybody but we have a history of thrashing alien religions out of our country that is currently surviving due to some politicians.

We're a rather bloody history with the arab wannabes if you get the idea.

Dude, Burmese are a gas-rich country who have now opened up to western investments. 15 years down the lane, they will be having a powerful economy with tremendous military might.

Mate, you do know that the Burmese military is much more advanced than you guys, aren't you?

You want a confrontation with the junta?

They have a better Air-force but not Army and Navy.

Anyway time is on BD's side as the BD military has been deliberately left weak in the past so that money could be focused on alleviating poverty.

Now that BD has better social indicators than both Pakistan and India, a greater proportion of the BD budget can be spent on the military in the future.

A lot of people forget than BD's GDP is around 2 times as large as Myanmar in nominal terms and 3 times as large in PPP terms. The IMF predicts this gap to widen into the future as BD should grow quicker.

Man you are the only buddhist who likes to identify him as hindu. Now you are talking about alien religion. Better work on converting some Hindus dude. Otherwise Buddha gonna extinct in India. ;)

My 2 cents.

A peaceful and prosperous burma is in our interest. A economically rich Burmese will find better things to do than resort to riot.

Why the hell you come here to do monkeying in this forum? Is to make the Indians happy? It will not pay a dividend. Who wants to know from you what military expertise we have? Why don't you use your President's good office to know which military is best in the UN service? How about your monky looking Barman troops in the UN? How many of these monkeys are there? Don't bullshit here in this forum, and get out of our Arakan.
