Is this the same kind of reporting that said Kasab was abducted from Nepal? If this incident was true, why has the Pakistani High Commission been quiet? Lack of testicular fortitude? Why haven't the parents of the couple been banging on all doors & taking their story to the media? Interestingly, this AHRC is based in Hong Kong but does not even have a country section for the largest nation around - China and North korea, but has sections for all other countries.

The Pakistan High Commission (PHC) has flatly refused to help the couple as it would be dangerous for the couple in reference to the continual strained relationship between the two countries.

The couple has also written and contacted the High Commission of Pakistan at New Delhi several times and it was told to them not to contact the commission because it would be said that Pakistan was involved in their case. The authorities have flatly refuse to help them and even asked the couple not make contact by telephone otherwise India would blame Pakistan.

I am speechless .......

What I find most disappointing is that the High Commission of Pakistan is refusing to help out two Pakistani citizens in distress, reportedly. If true, the grounds for denying consular assistance should be made clear.
