Its my dream that one day we'll have a futurist leader who will present the new modern face of Pakistan, i might get some hate/criticism for this but I just want to make my ideas known.

Under modernization reforms, the following would be specified:

-President is head of state and head of government can appoint Vice President and Departments.

-President, as the head of the government and holder of executive powers.

I believe this system would be better for Pakistan, there would be equal representation and better integration.

-Creation of New Provinces

The creation of provinces which has nothing to do with ethnicity but rather the regions they are located, this could be the way for Pakistan to move forward, the provinces could be named after the largest cities in those areas which could serve as provincial capitals.

-Modification of State flag and national symbols

I might get some hate for this, but whatever. The new flag of Pakistan (which please bare in mind, this type of flag was used by many muslims of the subcontinent before the official pakistani flag was approved.

New state flag and emblem:

The 39 stars on the emblem represent the recorded 39 empires and civilisations that the territory that constitutes the Federation today was a part of since 1,900,000 BCE.

-National Assembly as sole legislative branch

similar to the turkish Grand National Assembly.

I also have some proposals for new provincial flags, etc. The banner of the Pakistani Armed Forces would be:

Rather than the white stripe representing minorities, the white color of the crescent and the star will represent the minorities.

@El Sidd

How about recruiting this gentleman/woman for your coup attem.... sorry I mean political party? He seems to be brimming with ideas.

Do you think its controversial to change the flag etc?

I like the coat of arms, but I don't see the point in changing the flag. It's been part of the original movement for the founding of Pakistan and serves as a symbolic link to our founding fathers, breaking that link is probably going to be near impossible.

haha shhhh... just dont say that forbidden word or else Pakistani jamhoori bache will go for ablution.

Well you see the winds are changing fast for the status quo political parties.

Before it was just talks of corruption but media has made sure that every aspect is covered.

There is a pandora box that these political parties have nurtured and bred terrorists for their own glorification and hunger for power. anyone can confirm this in Balochistan and Punjab along with Sindh.

You think that a country with a more than healthy amount of young people will not see through this drama. Politics is just like fashion and these old spent horses will fall out of favor very soon.

In a country where 60 year olds are forced to sit home and do namaz roza how will the young ones allow them to run their country. saare chaachaa retire hokar ghar janay walay hain

PDP actually wants a continuation of Pakistans development just that Pakistanis should head this and not old horses with vested interest in dynastical families or foreign princes or mullahs.

@El Sidd yes but whats your response to my thread and ideas?

Pakistan in current environment cannot move to Presidential form of Government. Not till the old horses of politics and the feudal mentality exists.

The flag green and white is the only flag i have ever known. It cannot be therefore changed.

The Turkish experiment is bound to fail.

As far as new provinces. Well that is an eventuality. Sooner or later its bound to happen given the administrative problems one faces in running the office.

But this all can fundamentally come through a united national effort and not just a majority in the parliament.

Democracy alone can help the plight of the nation at this time.

hope you guys dont mind..but here are my ideas for the Pak Army, Navy and Air Force:

whats the PDP?

Its a political party freshly made under the chairmanship of @Hyprion

And my dear friend i can only say

do not run away from the past. use it to build your future.

we have to be pragmatic and realistic not idealists.

It's some sort of national awakening movement taking shape through this forum, or so I am told. @El Sidd is the brain behind it I think.

PDP = Pakistan Defence Party

I am just its voter.

Allama Iqbal is the brains behind it.

Trust meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Kaa style
