I couldn't find the entire press conference in English. Featured topics are:

- Tripartite mechanism is starting between Turkey - Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina . The first summit will lay thegroundbreaking ceremony of the bridge that will link Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia.

- The process of negotiation on Kosovo continues and there are some disagreements between sides. However, if an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Turkey will support this agreement.

- Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Russia building a powerful mechanism to keep the peace in the Balkans.

- The 140th anniversary of relations will be an important milestone for Turkish Serb friendship.

- 9 agreements were signed between the countries in the fields of Industry, Military, Education, Science and Technology. In this way, Turkish-Serbian relations will develop much faster both in the academic environment and industrial level.

- The activities of Turkish businessmen in Serbia will be supported. Turkish businessmen will open 6 factories with a total investment value of $ 200 million to operate in the automotive, rubber and textile sectors, in this visit.

- Serbia's transportation infrastructure will be substantially renewed in cooperation with Turkish companies.

- Turkey and Serbia will work on joint defense projects. Relations between the Serbian defense industry and the Turkish defense industry will be improved.

- Joint archive works will be done. 127,000 square meters of Ottoman Istanbul archives will be opened to Serbian academics.

- TIKA's activities to promote common culture and civilization will continue increasingly. especially Novi Pazar's cultural heritage will be raised. Ram Castle, one of Serbia's important historical heritage sites, will be restored by TIKA.

Such titles can be highlighted. But at the end of the press conference there was a very emotional confession from Mr. Jovic.

'Who will give bread to our people in Malizbornik or other poor towns? Nobody looked at us when we went to Europe. Which western company can you bring? You think that's easy? Who else came than the Turks? Can't we think differently, yes, we can have different ideas. We are aware of how attentive the Turkish leaders when talking to us. And we are trying to show this mutual respect and sincerity.'

I think this part was very important for us to understand our Serbian friends. It will ensure the development of Turkish empathy, regarding the difficulties they face. There were times in the past between the Serbs and the Turks that we would not want to remember. But in a greater part of our history, we were two civilizations that respected and valued one another. I hope that Serbia will come back to the point it deserves in the future and it will be gratifying for the us , if we walk with them.

History is history... past is past... now We should build a better future for both Turks And Serbs, And I hope We will succeed. I want to hear about this ''defence cooperation'' And I hope We will hear more in future.

Old foes are now building alliances. How times change.
Contrary to popular belief, Turks and Serbs have been allied against to Catholic Europe very long time. The Serbs were never subordinate to the central government, they maintained their kingdom. However, a significant number of Serbs served in the Ottoman bureaucracy and engineering fields.

Anyway, this is a completely different story.

Didn't the Serb extremists later on use the same history to incite slaughter of muslims in Bosnia??

We never forgot and we will never forget. Therefore, our integration activities with the Balkans will continue strongly.

This problem did not begin with the disintegration process of Yugoslavia. We need to go back a lot. The Balkans may be the region most affected by the French Revolution.

Ok dude u might know more...

I see Turkey as one of the, if not THE future leader of the Muslim countries & therefore hope Turkey will always prioritize Muslims of the Balkans over Serbia.

Dear brother, Novi Pazar is very valuable for the Turks. And it will always maintain its value. If you wish, you can listen to Turkey's approach from the Muslims of Serbia. If you are referring to political stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey is together with Bosnian brothers since the beginning.

Turkey understand they to develop Kosova and Albania, it needs to connect all these countries, otherwise Eu will buy them with money one by one, people will move to western EU to work and no young people left like in Bulgaria now..
To be honest, these poor(by European standards not middle Eastern) eastern european/balkan countries are the ones who keenly wish to join E.U. Since they obviously know the benefits that comes with it. It's not like the E.U is the one begging these countries to join, if anything wealthy European countries are wary of letting them join the E.U due to obvious reasons. Since they are cautious of letting them in will lead to another new wave of immigrants flocking to western Europe for a better life.
