Sources familiar with the details of a deal and new agreements between the company "Alpha House" (Alphabet) parent company of the search giant "Google", and the Saudi oil giant "Aramco".

Saudi Arabia's oil giant Aramco has announced plans to build a giant technology center in the kingdom, similar to Silicon Valley, San Francisco.

The top executives of the Saudi and US companies have been in talks for months on a joint venture with the encouragement of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman to bring more expertise and technology to the kingdom, the sources said.

The talks reached almost a formula for building the Silicon Valley in Saudi Arabia. Under the deal, the parent company of Google will support Aramco in building the largest data centers in the kingdom.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the deal and the alliance strengthen the technology sector in the Kingdom, a goal pointed out by Prince Mohammed bin Salman as an essential part of the Vision 2030 plans.

The paper predicted that the project would be large enough to be listed on the Saudi bourse, although not disclosed the terms of the transaction and the expected amounts.

Google aims to have a major foothold in Saudi Arabia with a huge project away from its competitors coming to the Saudi market, most notably Microsoft and Amazon, which is about to complete a deal of $ 1 billion to build three data centers in the Kingdom, this deal is expected to be announced during the trip of Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the United States this year.

Saudi Arabia is expected to become a hub for Internet data for the Middle East, and the countries in the region will not need to use marine cables connected to Europe, which will also improve the quality of Internet services and more speed.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited the Silicon Valley in America after spending a political and economic week in Washington in mid-2016, where he met with senior executives of technology companies to discuss how Saudi Arabia could benefit from innovation and technology.

If google is involved it's the real thing.

Unless it's a publicity stunt by saudis, which means they bribed google to do this.
