It won't happen, israel is naturally a coward.

Israel engaged USSR couple times when we had no diplomatic relationships:

1) War on Attrition 1968-1970, shooting down 5 Soviet Migs and destroying many Soviet SAMs in Egypt.
2) War in Lebanon 1982, destroying Soviet commanded Feda SAM system in Baalbek.

In 1991 USSR and then Russia restored full diplomatic relationships with Israel. So there is zero reason and chance of military confrontation now.

U should also remember that Putin visited Israel twice in 2005 and 2012 and never visited Syria
