It must be noted here as well that PTI government had to ask Mr. Fayyaz Chauhan resign after the provincial minister drew the irk of Muslism and Hindus alike for his intolerant statements regarding Hindus.

The move was focused on wooing the Sikhs in India for the kartharpur corridor and essentially trying to keep a soft spot in the community we face immediately east of the border.

Now, whether that is the smartest move and whether any of these nincompoops have the slightest idea of “focus groups” and knowing historical significance is something better left to history and not commentary.

We already have a category of pseudo-intellectuals writing under some self-absorbed sense of perineal enlightenment of embracing and celebrating Chanakya and others as part of “historical” tree hugging so I certainly doubt any in Pakistan besides the olden Custard apple’s, Maize or Diesel variety have an idea of how truly rabid and basic these motley collection of ignoramus known as Pakistani Qaum are and what little it takes for them to rip each others fetuses out at the slightest whim on religion.

Only time will tell if such measures of strategic soft power depth will bear fruit or not. Although a disturbing pattern can be observed given the colonial nature of these ''focus groups''.

However one may argue that if inciting the masses in hope of a bigger political mandate resulting out the intended anarchy is a wise choice or not. It has always been the case with politics in Pakistan that xenophobic slogans of superiority cater the most public voices in the country.

Next would probably be someone who resisted Mohammad bin Qasim in Sindh.

Pakistan is blessed with an ideological resolve against any kind of 'ism'. For Pakistan TNT evolves as the world turns.

Its always been the nature to create smokescreen of ''doomsday'' while at the back end '' Meesaqs '' are prepared for democracy and economy and probably in 5 years water resources. Its a vicious circle of tyranny and oppression.

I honestly believe this is being done to curb down Pakistan's role in Afghanistan even further. There is already a concentrated effort being put in to award all of the problems in the country on just mere 3 million refugees from Afghanistan.

There are more than one shade of Sindhi nationalist out there. Zardari is not a Sindhi nationalist since he himself hails from a Baloch tribe.

Fawwad is a duffer who is calling for ethnic supremacy in a state where there are tons of different ethnicities. I'm not a Pushtun but how about if a Pushtun leader start making similar remarks?

Again totally agree with you if he would have written that "Ranjit Singh was symbol of glory for Sikhs" I will be fine with it, but using something like "symbol of punjabi supremacy" is utterly disgusting to say the least.
