Afghanis-tan is a Japanese yonkomamanga, originally published as a webcomic, by Timaking (ちまきing). It is also the name of the heroine of the manga. The manga is nicknamed Afgan


I saw Pakisu-tan ...Turkmenis-tan too...and these 're all comic characters.

There's definitely some strong cynical commentary. Personally I interpret the depiction of nations as chibi moe characters an allusion to the tendency of Japanese people to describe developing countries as immature.

A heavyhanded analogy. Not so wrong in many ways, perhaps...
