I know not just that it’s totally embarrassing.
Their architecture is either Byzantine or Armenian
Their most famous architecture was of Armenian and Greek descent
Their sultans were more European than Turkish
The people who manage their empire were almost all of them Greeks and Albanians and Serbs like koprulu, sokollu pasha, Ibrahim pasha and others.
Their gaint cannons were made by Hungarian
Their calligraphy is either Arabic or Persian
Their customs and habits were more Arabic, Greek, and Persian than Turkish
I remember bragging about ruling the others while in reality their sultans were slaves to their slaves the white janissaries and to thier European wives and European grand viziers
Also by the time the rumelis were ruling the empire de facto were was the turkmens the founder of the ottoman empires?! They were herding goats in Anatolia that’s destroy their claim of ruling the others but in reality their empire was ruled by European foreigners like grand viziers and janissaries and Christian European wives.
Note after the era or orhan the Turkmens lost their influence on the empire and shifted to the rumeli control( the Balkan Europeans) much for ruling the others they always bark at the Greeks that they ruled them but in reality it was the opposite the Islamists Greeks were in charge of the administration of the empire since the days of osman because most of the osmanlis were barbarian nomads
Also the same happened to their other empires like the ghaznavids and Seljuks who relied on Persians and others to administrate the empire like nizam al mulk and adopted Persian cultural elements, costumes, names and titles because they barely have any culture or civilization or real empire administration and not some nomadic confederations.
You don’t get it you barely got cultures and yes it’s insult to others that you thieves compare yourselves to them.
Don't forget Arab/Islamic architecture. After all modern-day Anatolia was ruled by Arabs for centuries.
Ottoman Turkish = Arabic dialect.
Ottoman alphabet = Arabic alphabet with 2-3 additions (lol)
Ottoman titles = Arabic titles (Sultan, Caliph)
Caliphate = Arab invention.
Most of the land and people = Arab
To this day Arabic has the most influence in Turkish language. Not even Kemalist fairytales of turning into Europeans (no European will ever accept them, hated by almost all Europeans) changed this fact.
Customs and habits as you say mostly Arab with some Greek and Persian.
What is the funniest of all this is that they claim that they are Mongoloid Turks from the deserts and steppes of Central Asia while ALL DNA tests claim otherwise. In fact they have much more Arab in them than anything Turkic which is the funniest thing. Hard to take seriously.
I know Turks in person, when I talked about those topics, who admit it as well, that they are much more Arab/Middle Eastern than Turkic ancestry wise (DNA). The locals confuse them for Arabs as well, lol. To Europeans every Muslim is mostly an Arab haha.
Imagine a Black Jamaican that speaks English claiming the Industrial Resolution that occurred in England because they speak the same language?
Reminds me of the anti-Arabs on PDF and in real world (Muslims). They will badmouth Arabs when talking with Arabs but when Arabs are not nearby they will claim all of our achievements in the name of Islam.
