I remember bragging about ruling the others while in reality their sultans were slaves to their slaves the white janissaries and to thier European wives and European grand viziers
Also by the time the rumelis were ruling the empire de facto were was the turkmens the founder of the ottoman empires?! They were herding goats in Anatolia that’s destroy their claim of ruling the others but in reality their empire was ruled by European foreigners like grand viziers and janissaries and Christian European wives.
