>if i register for PAF and do not go for the initial test is it considered a lost chance(rejection).
>if I clear the initial test of PAF and later do not go for the issb is it also considered a lost chance(rejection).

I have asked these questions because I have only one chance remaining and my plans are to apply for army or paf. I have planed that if i get admission in my aimed university I will take the gamble and apply for GDP but if don't get in my desired university I will prefer Army. The problem is that the date of PAF registration ends on 18th august whereas the list of my desired university comes on 25th august therefore I want to apply for GDP within its date and if I get admission in that university I will go for it but if not that university I will not go and wait for ARMY.
Please help me in this situation....I am really confused......:frown:

Dear Tayyab, I was sailing the same boat a decade ago as you are rite now, so i feel your problem.

Since this is your last chance, I would suggest that you do not apply for the Air Force. Their selection is far more tougher than that of Army. If you are selected in the Army, you still have a chance of becoming a pilot, although not a fighter pilot going on Mach 1, but still if you get a chance at the Cobra's you will still be a fighter pilot of sorts. secondly, army in it self is a promising career keeping in mind that u have an inclination towards the forces. If a pilot is what you want to be, you can also consider the Navy, as its a three dimensional force as well; and submariners are as unique as fighter pilots are, rather the fighter pilots of the deep.

In any account DO NOT MISS YOUR LAST CHANCE FOR ISSB. You can apply again in the university of your choice next semester or even next year. At most you will loose a year, but if you loose this chance to join the forces, then its gone for ever. In the end you will have to question yourself if you love the armed forces enough and then take the decision. For me, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't regret not joining the army, despite having cleared my ISSB. Hope this helps, and best of luck in your future endeavors.

SIR IS CALCULATOR ALLOWED IN INITIAL TEST SINCE MANY OF THE MATHS AND PHYSICS QUESTION REQUIRE CALCULATOR

It wasn't allowed in our time.
I don't know about nowadays, but the questions are simple and IMO will not require a calculator.
