I wholeheartedly agree with this. I am surprised that many Pakistanis are just saying Afghans are savages, ungrateful etc. They are missing this key issue. The Afghans have their eyes on Pakistani land to get sea access.

That's fine. ALL Pakistan needs to do us permanently seal the border and let NOTHING came into Pakistan from afghandistan and let nothing go to afghandistan from Pakistan. Then let afghanistan starve to death FOREVER. Problem solved..........

That is correct that the claim is primarily made by the Pashtun section of Afghan society , however the Tajik leaders have calculatedly backed the Pashtun claim to Pakistan's KP. The Tajik calculation is that by backing this claim and supporting it they can move the internal Tajik-Pashtun conflict towards an external Afghan-Pakistan conflict.

It is much like how Jews have made Muslims the focus of the Western Christian bigotry by playing up the Muslims as the baddies so that the Western-Christian biggotry doesn't fall on the Jews , as it has happened many times during history.
