Oh please, stop watching bollywood movies!

Give me stats of civilian cooperation between the 2 nations, that might prove this.

I never watch your poorly plagiarized bollywood movies.

Only China has this kind of love from Pakistani people (not even Saudi Arabia has this in Pakistan)

And in 2008, Pakistan welcomed China's Olympic Torch warmly, and did not protest against Tibet when the torch arrived(we saw the rude protests from other different countries). In fact, when the torch passed through the rural hinterland of the capital Islamabad, local villagers showered rose petals upon the procession.

Yet more Chinese tourists visits Sri Lanka over Pakistan.

All this friendship seems OTT.

You're only saying that because you're not a part of it.

And anyway it is not your concern. India has already made its position on China/Pakistan clear enough.

I.e. Your Defence Minister referring to China as India's "number one enemy". :azn:

It is, only few hundreds Pakistanis live in China.

Chinese people don't like to visit Pakistan, unless its for work.

Chinese prefer India and SL, for trips to South Asia.

Pakistan is not as peaceful as before because of America's war OF terror.

You should search on google what Pakistani opinion polls are of India:

Attitudes toward China remain positive -- 84% consider China a partner to Pakistan.

Good to know, keep keeping your soldiers on the Indian border, while attacks happen on the other side.

"In addition to hard power, soft power also matters. The U.S. is able to use its universal values like freedom and democracy and Hollywood blockbusters to spread its influence abroad. It is able to use products like the iPad to make money. China has no such "Sunday punch." Nowadays, Asian countries have neither respect for Chinese culture nor recognition of Chinese values."

I am not sure what chinese values are. Can any chinese tell us what they like to be seen as.

As an Indian I would like us to be seen as democratic and pluralistic country which celebrates diversity.

You should give the same advice to India. India has territorial disputes with all its neighbors.

No we don't. We have dispute with China because of ridiculous Chinese claims and with Pakistan is a whole different issue. No other territorial disputes.

Of course Pakistanis have favorable view for China, thats because Pakistan has no where else to go to. But what do Chinese people think of Pakistan? And no I don't mean the people on this forum:lol:

Ironically according to the world public opinion survey, 40% Chinese people have positive views about India and 43% negative as compared to 37% positive view for best friend Pakistan and 47% negative view. :woot:

Again that is because of America's war OF terror that is affecting Pakistan the most. India is unharmed by America's war OF terror that is why they don't want America to end it, while Pakistanis are praying everyday that the war OF terror ends.

Besides, China's leaders and military loves Pakistan and that is what matters the most. The common person in China does not make China's foreign policy.

The common person in China knows almost nothing about international affairs, except what they may see in the media (both domestic and international media).

The Chinese people who are interested in politics (like those on this forum), and those who have knowledge of the history of our international relations, are almost 100% pro-Pakistan.

And needless to say, the decision-makers in China share a similar view, because they are the types who are interested in political affairs.
