As a professional HR, I should say this title is stupid even you try to believe something.

There is a labor law and a bunch of lawyers out there and they are waiting for this kind of cases because 99.99% of them will win in court!

Futher more, there are many lawyer offices beside the big companies especial in Guangdong province that they are hunting for labor disputes.

Depends. There are also instances where the judiciary is bribed to side with the company.

Dude..... strict, ruthless and disciplined go hand in hand with successful business....... perhaps that's why you see Chinese succeed, while others fail, specially Pakistani mom and pop stores abroad, who have no idea of how to run a small business......

Gender equality isn't what I had in my mind.

My point is that I have seen and worked with Chinese businesses for more than 10 years.
I found them to be very strict, and ruthless in pursuit of success.

No, you don't know the procedures of labor disputes.

There are many ways to negotiate with employee to decrease costs but for what you say the bribe, that's insane. Bribe judge has little economic outputs except risks. Only morons will do this.

If the case was put in court, the result is found that it apparently stand with employees.

Before the case was put in court, you should do something to avoid being prosecuted that depend on employee's legal awareness. So, the hunter appeared.

BTW, I dealt with dozens of cases of this kind.
