A black day of Indian history when millions of Indians killed by Afghans

slaughtering non combants is strictly prohibited in Islam .. Abdali won the battle but what comes Later was un-Islamic act of his army under his leadership and he will answer for that .

A correction... the army wasnt only composed of Pashtuns... but also Baloch and some loyal Panjabi (musalman) tribes..

Yes, hence even more reason it's a pre-border Pakistani victory. Moreso than Afghan victory.

Durranis suffered quite a bit of loss in Third Battle of Panipat. Infact, this became the last victory and high point of the empire. Due to their losses in this battle, Sikhs captured Punjab and threw them away for good. This battled was followed by decline and destruction of last Afghan empire or Durranis.

It wasn't due to losses in this battle that they fucked up. It was not keeping the sikh problem in check. It was tactical, and the sikhs were very opportunistic with his oversight.

@Mian Babban report this thread to the people in pashtunforums.com

Looks like Pakistani believe only they are the only clever people in the region. Afghanis are stupid because they side with Indians, Iranians are stupid because they don't see Indian evil agenda, Bangladeshi are stupid because they are India's puppets... Yeah right!

other than Iranians, look at BD and Afghanistan...situation speaks itself.
you forgot to mention Nepal and Sri Lanka...the ones who got away :)

The relation between india and Afghanistan is of thousands of years..this abdalis and gaznavis rules might have lasted for some hundred years..it was only a passing phase...Afghanistan was once a hindu country..later a buddhist...they speak indo iranian language like many indians...we have had historical and cultural relation with them

it was once the part of Iran the great persian empire and then it turned budhist and then hindus and hindus replaced by muslims and they love to be muslims and that is why they didnt revert back to their previous faiths ....dont try to fool people with the claim that they were hindu first then budhist .....

Third battle of Panipat can be described as a Pyrrhic victory for Abdali. This eventually created a power vacuum which helped the British eventually fill it. Marathas were the pre-dominant power in the region and yes they had reached Attock. If I am not mistaken the Sikh Empire captured Kabul as well.

It's not Afghans, it is Pakhtuns. This would include the ones in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Heck, even Baluchis fought in Abdali's army. Abdali was also born and raised in Multan (hence why Multan has a birth monument to him as well as a Masjid named after him).

This is just as much a Pakistani achievement as it is an Afghan one.

Asalamu Alaikum

Did Punjabis fight under him? I didn't know that. Is that why there are Gujjars in Afghanistan and KPK?

Wrong.

Yes, the Punjab was lost but the rest of the empire remained intact until Abdali died. His son Timur then went and recaptured parts of the Punjab. It was only after Timur that the empire started to decline.

Btw, even after losing the Punjab, Abdali still launched numerous raids into it.

No, Pakistanis have a strong historical and cultural relation with them.

As for Hindustanis, not so much other than the Muslims living there.

Why are you giving Afghans the sole credit? Afghan meaning citizens of present day Afghanistan.

This is a tale of Pakhtuns slaughtering indiots. Ahmad Shah made Peshawar the capital at the time, so more likely the majority of the people killing indians were, what would be considered present day terms: Pakistanis.
Credit?? Are you feeling proud of it?
Shame on you.At that time we were one country.

India should demand compensation from Afghanistan for maratha genocide.
Afghans and Indians:agree:
It was strictly Abdali Vs Marathas .

Maratha's didn't gain assistance and allies in north india , e,g Hindu rajputs , Hindu Jatt of Panipat , Ahir or Sikhs , while Abdali made allies with Rohila sardar
Najib ad-Dawlah and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Oudh

BTW one of the main Generals of the Marathas was Ibrahim Khan Gardi

Seems like too proud of killing... Add Pakistan's killing of Bangladeshis to your list...
