‘Pak intelligence agents abduct BBC journalist’

:) well guys and Bull let me throw light on it:)

A very poor attempt on part of BBC reporter to gain popularity and ultimat benefits by stagign his abuduction drama.

He (Dilawar Wazir), intrestign again a journalist from tribal areas :) went to Islamabad and lost (did not ) conatct (delebrtly;)) with his family the next day.

And intersting just for one day and some vested elements( so-called journalists) jumped over the situation mostly from tribal belt of NWFP where i live. Even my own newspaper recieved news of protest and even i had published it as lead news story in district news page.
than i talked the same evenign with some of our corespondants in tribal belt and guess what :P :P nice try on part of BBC man to get attention and bringing out spicy news of abducation.

.
Allegations have to be proven.
The victim himself does not allege that ISI were his captors.

He should be out of his senses to say something like that.

The Minister himself says he cannot rule out govt officials behind it ,but still the civilian members in PFF are up in arms accusing the Indians of "yellow journalism".

.
As far as I know, even the BBC has not outrightly pointed the finger at Pakistani intelligence agencies but I guess the Indian press are only too trigger happy and are quick to start pointing fingers before even establishing what really transpired. Kudos to yellow journalism.

Who has outrightdly pointed fingers, the whole issue is about a kidnapped journalist and why he was kidnapped?

Who has anything to gain from it? the militants or the Army?

I just read about it in BBC and Gulf news,

and Jana,
Can u post the story or the version that you claimed happened.

Bull it was reported in The News, Dawn and other newspapers that hav no influence of the government plus i had talked to the coorespondence of my Newspaper in the tribal area and those who know him very well and all the situation.

As far as BBC well it got the spicy story so indeed they had presented their version. a good sell-out

Neither the Journalist nor BBC or Dawn(for that matter, because he also worked for Dawn), has pointed a finger at Pakistani government.

On the contarary, Pakistan govt. has said that they will do a full investigation themselves.

As is typical, Indian Media will ALWAYS put the most negative spin on anything related to Pakistan.
