A 2015 warning to Pakistan and Turkey by UAE taking shape in 2017.

Gawadar is a threat to Chabahar - please update yourself
Chabahar starts in Iran and ends in Iran Gawadar starts in Pakistan and will end in China and Russia. no competition it shows your propaganda clearly and we want to have good relations with Iran they are next to CPEC and Iran joining in will deprive India of Iran's oil which will go to China

UAE will get a direct competition to real estate market and port trade. Plus foreign investment. companies will leave UAE just like the they are leaving England for EU in Brexit. So UAE is a threat.

3m+ Paksitanis in KSA & UAE are slaves?

Gawadar is a threat to Chabahar - please update yourself

Arab countries have never feuled sectarinism - Iran has, be brave enough to admit it. TTP Commander, Kulbhushan came from Iran or Arab countries? Baba Ladla and Uzair Baloch - Arab PAssports or Irani?
Are you so sure about that?

.
Unfortunately yes, they are treated like slaves. But it's not the point, many Pakistanis live and earn their living in UK and other countries. An interesting thing to note would be the fact that Pakistanis are not given nationality in Arab countries, correct me if i am wrong.
3m+ Pakistanis living in the GCC disagree with you. If their conditions were so bad they would be in Pakistan, not GCC. Every year the numbers increase not decrease why?

Not only Pakistanis, but no one is given citizenship in the GCC, because the expats outnumber the Locals (excluding KSA). So simple logic.

Gwadar is a threat to UAE itself and other Arab countries, one wonders what'll happen when all the oil runs out. Oh wait here you go:

Honestly speaking, i hope i live to see the day.
The guy you are quoting is ruler of Dubai. Dubai has already run out of oil, only 5% of Dubai's GDP is from oil.

Chabahar is just a faction in all this, it is no threat to Gwadar. Chinese will not use Chabahar, and how do you expect India to reach Central Asia through Afghanistan. Come on. It's not even feasible.

Chabahar is a direct threat to Gawadar, but time will prove either one of us right.

Arey yaar, i expected better. It is literally a established fact, everyone knows it. It's a shame that we have slaves as rulers.

Yes it is a shame, and unfortunately as much as I would like to I can't leave you on your own. Your pain is also my pain.

.
No Pakistani will wish for War escalation between Iran or UAE or any GCC country, it is simple fact.

1- Focus on Palestinian state , 2 state resolution only
2- Focus on ISIS

That is all that is needed to be done

Pakistan has a brotherly ties with GCC nations similarly we have good ties with Iran perhaps not as close , but still we like to maintain good ties with both regions and maintain peace in region. Normally there is good gesture from Iran side now and then

I could care less what petty differences exist between Shia or Sunni, I personally don't put these differences very high rather focus on bigger issue.

Big issue / main issue only issue = Regional security from ISIS that is the only open subject

We won't play the "Lets Bash another Muslims country " tune

If there are bigger issues to discuss , bring these up at OIC meeting where all leadership meets face to face

Always remember , this can be the next Irani city or UAE city
all the population is sitting in tents as we speak why ? Cus people who started the war did not figure that out
syria-rubble.jpg

I don't understand , Yamen war why folks need to be bombed
Similarly I don't understand what the fuss is about iran

Nor I quite follow why Assad needs to be toppled when he was running his country (big or small , rich or poor) in a reasonable manner where the people had homes , economy , and normal lives

Looking back I don't even thinks world was right to kill Sadam Hussain or Qadafi as they all controlled their own countries rather "WELL" sure they enjoyed some riches and mansions and rich style. But then again which politician of world does not ?

Only thing they can do is to start funding Balochi insurgents again
So,they did this before,when?
Why would they side with India against Pakistan,it doesnt make sense?

Like I said, just pure nonsense from you as usual, nothing else.

both sides of the coin... discuss both sides, you stick to one
we are trapped between two different sectarian wars, one is highlighted and the other is being ignored. That will cause greater harm then anything else. And the port is not a good thing, if not for heavy Chinese investment in CPEC it would have been a game changer.
Our rulers are rulers, they lose nothing when they sell us out, they gain personally and live like emperors. Your mistake is thinking they are invested in the future of Pakistan or care about what people think about them.

UAE has not proven to a dependable friend, and defending that is impossible.

Sir, my own personal opinion is that Iran and Saudi Arabia have fuelled sectarianism. Maybe Qatar as well. The rest of them are simply not religious/ideological enough to care. Own opinion though. Correct me if I am wrong please.

You are right, Uzair Balouch was not caught in the UAE, on Iranian Passport.
Like I told @WAJsal also, one side is never the correct way to look. I agree, that our other neighbour has not been helpful with the Pakistani security, but the marching of troops in India can not be considered a move by our ally, it can be not be something considered a move by our friend, and it certainly can not be a nation we can depend on. The UAE has picked a proper venue to announce its changing geopolitical preferences, and has spoken in very clear words what it believes in.
As far as Iran goes, it's role is also to create strife in certain regions, work against a stable Pakistan in certain areas, and provide funding to sectarian organisations. It has caused much of the destabilisation in the region at large and that can not be ignored BUT that is not an excuse or a get out of jail free card for the UAE

So , we are not gona take sides "DEAL with it "

If GCC countries / Iran want to compete in anything compete in building back Syria / Libya/yamen/iraq to their former glory (some what glory , it was not bad)

But if some nations only solution after destability is a f....ing Tent and 4-5 noodle bag or 4 water bottles for 1 week then I am afraid we are better off not going in that direction, which leads to war between Iran or GCC countries.

And yep , not in our national interest to create 10-50 Million refugee at our border
nor in our interest to see Water / food shortages across GCC countries

Let's put all the recent developments with UAE on the table:

1. UAE official visits Pakistan and holds meetings with Gen. Qamar Bajwa.
2. QB tries to sell the Mirage 2000s to the airforce. That's just on the outside, don't know what else went on behind the scenes.
2. Then we see a UAE official hugging Modi (the only thing they could do to make it more intimate was to close their eyes) and UAE troops marching in India's parade.

Was 1 a confidence building measure? A threat? A warning? Who knows.

This much is true. The CPEC is definitely a threat to UAE. We also have the warning given by UAE in 2015 (the title of this thread). And in general, we have had threads calling into question UAE's intentions towards Pakistan.

It is UAE's responsibility to win hearts and minds of common Pakistanis.

I said this earlier in the thread:

UAE is not banking on India. Diplomacy and business is being given a wrong image. The recent developments have not gone well with the average Emirati, and the President is about to step out of the shadows, and steer the ship in a different direction InShaAllah. But you are free to do what you think is best for you.

I for one, want to bank on no nation in these times. Friendly brotherly relations need to be kept with UAE but, honestly, somethings can not be taken back. I know the love for the Pakistani nation, the close military ties, and the economic stability provided by the UAE which have helped Pakistan out of many binds. The average Emirati can not undo, and maybe even the President can not undo the feelings of the average Pakistani now. Yes, lavish dinners and press conferences will be able to bring back close relations, but the average Pakistani will have a suspicious eye on UAE.

Just to put it in terms you can understand, our marching in Iran and declaring that the views of security are same as ours.
