Islam basically fight 2 superpowers, Rome and Persian, in Middle East and won. The fight has been started even since prophet Muhammad time ( or Abu Bakr)

Wow - 2 hour video. Have to make some time later to watch this...

Me too.

I had the good fortune to visit the exhibition showing treasures of Tutan Khamun "King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh" in Los Angeles in 2018.

Surely one of the most memorable milestones in my entire life, which I will never forget. The hundreds of personal effects and artifacts with workmanship so stunningly perfect and exquisite, they make even modern artifacts pale in perfection. Hard to imagine the life of incredible luxury these people lived, yet their lives so fallible and human.

Nice that you have seen all that in person. I saw some pictures and was impressed. I told that too our Egyptian-American member @Gomig-21 who can perhaps tell us more about the vid in the OP.

That's just every civilization ever
Chinese civilization is believed to be the oldest civilization still exists today.
Incredible precision in architecture, astronomy and other sciences for their time period...

They had mastered most of the science we have today, except of course a few things like modern medicine, aviation and nuclear power but everything else, done and dusted. Of course we still can't mummify our dead like they did, to last five thousand years.

How dare you ! Our Hindutvadi friends @Suriya and @Chhatrapati will inform you dolts that ancient Hindus were the supreme builders and scientists. They had internet, spaceships, submarines, motor cars, in vitro fertilization, plastic surgery etc 15,000 years ago to even hundreds of thousands years ago.

Maybe few of you guys know that one of ingredient to preserve the mummy comes from Indonesia, particularly Barus region in North Sumatra. It tells alot that the connection between Indonesia and Arab nation happens way longer than during Islamic period

What was that ingredient ?

Still use until now, Barus @jamahir

9400 years?
Chinese civilization is 5000 years old. If we compare with the great ancient Egyptian civilization, we are just a child. Our only happiness is that our civilization has survived and has not been destroyed.

I don't think so, when Julia Cesar invade Egypt, pharoah system still exists and continue and we have the famous Cleopatra as pharoah.
Arabic civilization takeover the ancient Egypt , meaning it's a much superior system.

Civilization come and go. The one which can withstand the test of time will be the best. Nothing wrong for Arabic to replace Eygpt one.

Chinese civilization is believed to be the oldest civilization still exists today.

The era of the Pharoahs ended around 1000BC.
Egypt was conquered by the Persians around 500BC.
The Greeks conquered the Persian Empire around 335BC. (Alexander the Great).
It was the Greek Ptolemy dynasty that ruled Egypt after the death of Alexander the Great.
Cleopatra was the last member of the Greek Ptolemy dynasty.
The Romans conquered Egypt from the Greeks.

Survival of a civillization is a big deal (helped by the fact that y'all were largely isolated from rest of the world)
Indus some say is even older than Egypt but it wasn't continuous just like many other civillizations of that time

So yes it was a little late compared to the "competition" but because it survived

I thinking the legacy of that civilization is more intact
