What's new

91 civilians killed, 494 injured in police firing in J&K

the article only says it provides a clear view, but is has been established that pakistan cannot target the highway from that point, happy trolling.....

While officers say that Point 5353 is surrounded by three Indian posts, including Point 5240 and any action from there would be neutralised, the fact remains that artillery observers from the post can easily direct fire on a 25 km stretch of the national highway.

Selective reading is never good , is it ? :D

it is written, "can direct fire".......

while the hindu article clearly states that the pakistanis were not able to hit the highway in 2001-02 artilliery clashes, obviously my article's got the facts rather than opinions.......

That was 2001-2002 dear ... We have got A 100 in the meantime ... Wanna compare ? What have you procured after Bofors in artillery ? Nothing whatsoever ...

P.S : The words were " can easily direct fire " if you quoted with honesty ... :D

"can" is still can, u can't change it, u got A 100 doesn't mean u still can hit our highway, pakistan will be stupid to go to war assuming that it can.....
also, do u think our airforce will just let u target practice on our highway, we kicked u with mirage in 1999, now we have sukhoi and better planes are coming in future.......so as far as i see it, kargil is safer than ever......

Good for you that we didn't use our's and even then you lost Mig 21 , Mig 27 and Mi 16 ... :P Think what we would have done if PAF was involved ...

those were inferior crafts, pakistan couldn't down our mirage, we have better planes than it now, and no points for taking down migs, they keep crashing even without being fired at...talk only after u take down a sukhoi.....or maybe in a year, a eurofighter....:P

You talk like you have the whole of it ? When the time comes , we will take the rest of it ... Dont worry

That's the whole point buddy, nobody's worried. India has no interest in 'azad Kashmir'. Pakistan's only card was/is terrorism and even that's been gradually brought down to a minimum post 9/11. Sure LeT can pull off stunts like 26/11 every now and then, but how long do you think it'll be before Pakistan bows to intl' pressure? India will get what it wants without even firing a shot. In the grand scheme of things India can sustain a few hits to its ego, Pakistanis have to live among those jihadis. Even the PA knows better than to take on the mullahs. That's why you strike peace deals with them as often as you can.

What i cant understand that people are being killed for throwing stones and Indian members are supporting that ... Wonderful Logic !

Territorial integrity. Period.

The favorite Indian hobby ... Trolling at its best ... Wonderful how you guys derail threads ! Was haqqani affair related to Kashmir somehow ?

It only trolling if its out of context. The point is Pakistan has a long way to go before it can get its house in order. The economy is in shambles, jihadis are showered with rose petals, your govt. decries American 'interference' in public and begs for their help in private. Do you really think the world gives a rat's a$$ about what Pakistan has to say about Kashmir right now? The west is in recession and India is a huge market that just got a little bigger yesterday (retail reform). Nobody can pressure the GoI anymore. In five years Pakistan will have minimum to no leverage in Kashmir.

Whatever they were , it doesn't matter :P
Pakistan didn't down your mirage because the whole operation was to be disguised as a freedom fighter's Guerrilla war ... Had Pakistan used Airforce , it would have become very obvious that we were involved from the first day ... Talk only ? Do you remember the Su 30 MKI being locked by F16 after the Mumbai drama ? The pic was shown to Mullen with words " Next time we will bring it down "

Be realistic, this isn't 1999 we live in a different world now. Pakistan's days of crossing the LoC and calling its soldiers 'freedom fighters' are long gone. A terrorist attack or two? maybe. Another Kargil? LOL!

You talk like if India has no worries ... Even you have China as a competitor with its growing military might and economic power ... Just let the WoT end and we will see how quickly Pakistan puts its house in order ... Do you think that we hope the UN will help us take Kashmir back ? No , not really ... Sure we will see when Pakistan has minimum to no leverage in Kashmir ( 5 years you say right ? )

don't jump on that, the sukhoi never entered pakistani territory for a combat operation, had they done so, your f16 wouldn't have been able to stop us......it wasn't even able to stop the osama raid, much less a sukhoi......

and don't forget we have MRCA coming too, while u have an aircraft coming called the "Joint Failure 17"....
