Then Parikkar better clear it for eastern command. We badly need it in all the eastern borders. And not just a few batteries; All the 5 border states should be blanketed with SAM batteries So that we are assured of denying aerial access in case the war breaks out.

I see three distinct puff of smoke during the terminal phases of Akash. The last two are target interception and ultimate splash down but i cannot figure out the first puff of dark smoke b4 the target is intercepted... Is it the rocket motor being disengaged b4 the final hit ??

Plus one more thing why didn't they use the same smokeless propulsion as in Astra ?? Also why is it so heavy ??

When a missile is named or classified as "420"....then we have no worry.......
