In my opinion the cadets are the perfect opportunity for the people. Since they are war like and the army offers them the change to burn some steam, while still being productive to the state.

Voice of America conducted a survey on Wednesday on the request of PTM leader Mohsin Dawar.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Voice of America (VOA) conducted a survey in which 86 percent people voted in favour of Pakistan Army stay in North Waziristan, a tribal District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to details, Voice of America conducted a survey on Wednesday on the request of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Mohsin Dawar who demanded Pakistan Army to leave North Waziristan after 13 people were killed in a purported clash between the PTM activists and the military troops.

“Should Pakistan army leave the North Waziristan?” was the question asked by VOA from 5,199 people during 21-hour long survey. According to survey result, 86 percent voted “No” while only 14 percent voted “Yes”.

Survey is false. It's not well represented or that number would have been more like 96%-98%. Never trust any surveys the media does.

Indeed they have a whole cantonment in our city gujranwala even though it is not on the border and they evacuated dozens of villages some 50 years ago to establish that cantonment area but village people accepted the displacement and sacrificed so that a huge army cantonment could be built there as a second line of defence of the country, the first line of defence is the Sialkot cantonment.

The failure has been of 7 decades. The state of Pakistan, its institutions and the local population are all responsible.

Economic integration with the rest of the country should be a top priority. There is a reason why PTM finds its support base in Waziristan and Pushtun belt of Balochistan and not in Peshawar Valley.

Stop being an idiot. Before the merger, it was outside the jurisdiction of the normal civil administration but thanks to PTI govt and PM IK's visionary leadership FATA has been merged into KPK despite the strong but insignificant opposition from the Fazlu and al-Patwariyoon group.
And now the process of establishing the civilian control has been started and it will take time
