Voice of America conducted a survey on Wednesday on the request of PTM leader Mohsin Dawar.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Voice of America (VOA) conducted a survey in which 86 percent people voted in favour of Pakistan Army stay in North Waziristan, a tribal District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to details, Voice of America conducted a survey on Wednesday on the request of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Mohsin Dawar who demanded Pakistan Army to leave North Waziristan after 13 people were killed in a purported clash between the PTM activists and the military troops.

“Should Pakistan army leave the North Waziristan?” was the question asked by VOA from 5,199 people during 21-hour long survey. According to survey result, 86 percent voted “No” while only 14 percent voted “Yes”.

that is very illogical opinion, how would army know who took part in these surveys? are they going to harass 5000+ people?

secondly the misuse and abuse of Freedom of Speech has caused a lot of harm to Pakistan...PTM and politicians speak against the state every single day and nobody has the courage to label them as traitors...people like Achakzai and Fazal ur Rehman never really accepted Pakistan and they were still allowed to form political parties and take part in national politics. On the other hand look what your Champions of Freedom did to Julian Assange lol.

Army doesn't know my real identity and besides no one cares about this forum outside of us members. IRL activity in that part of the country where the army has occupied people's homes and is monitoring all activity is a different matter entirely.

I'd also like to point out that even though this forum has little value in the grand scheme of things the moderators have banned me twice already. I basically get banned every month. The bans are temporary but the message they send is clear - speech is restricted here as well.

The survey wouldn't have taken place without NOC from the authorities. This is a sensitive area is it not? VOA is the US' propaganda arm is it not? You think they let them conduct surveys without govt. oversight?
