I was reading the proceedings of yesterdays NA session. Although it was a complete mess but this issue was raised there as well.

The thing is I simply don't get the mentality of defending the predator in this situation. They grab a magnifying glass and try to find any form of issue in the victim's statement. A victim is already under a psychological pressure and when you start calling them whores then they come under more psychological pressure. This is simply a backward society's way of trying to hide their problem rather than tackle it head on.

This is happening in most of the collages & universities in Pakistan.

The reverse is true as well as I have seen and heard so many cases where the female teacher is harassed by male students. I have witnessed a class as young and 8th and 9th filled with over-horny students making gestures and remarks that were by every definition sexual harassment.


I have seen good and I have seen bad and what really eats me and gets me is that if anybody steps forward they are immediately belittled and questioned rather than supported and this is very wrong. Many on social media who would call themselves patriots of Pakistan would come forward and defend the predator rather than the victim.

In our religion siding with a victim when all chips are down is considered akin to jihad and the reason is bcz its the most hardest thing to do to defend the innocent and take on the zaalim and you are just as much of a zaalim as the perpetrator if you are attacking the victim and defending the predator.

On top of it all sexual harassment is not just grabbing a girl, tearing her clothes or raping her. Sexual harassment ranges from loose talk to bad touch. So yes an examiner examining hundreds of students where he is not snubbed at any point by the teachers could have sexually harassed 80 girls even more..

at this point all I can do is grab my head.
