Belt of -Ruderpur, lalkuan, pilibheet, kashipur , lakimpur etc are all rich in sikh population. More than just the population, they have majority of land holdings.
Sikhs are allowed to hold kirpan, sword as provisioned In Constitution. Just like they are allowed to ride two wheelers without helmet and are allowed to sport a turban and beard even in services.
If you don't like these provisions, that's not sikh community's problem. Ask your dadaji to remove these provisions and see what happens!
As far as jats, Western up belts of Meerut- muzaffarnagar, baraut, shamli, Gaziabad and other parts adjoining haryana are jat dominated areas! These days Modi wouldn't dare to enter villages in these areas even with 10x spg cover. In facts all local BJP MLAs and leaders are not entering villages, most of them are either sitting silently at home or are staying in Delhi.
Muslims are part of protest against modi for sure, and they have very good reasons to opposes! Even a moron monkey can see the writing on the wall as far as government's attitude is concern regarding Muslims.

These protests have been able to carry on for so long only because they are being staged by Jats and Sikhs. Everyone knows these two communities wouldn't shy away from tit for tat response if government used force on peaceful assembly!

Well when the days finally arrived, everyone knows what happened! And government went into silent mode.

Everyone is allowed to use whatever is available on hand in self defence.
