The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved more than two billion rupees for equipping the provincial government schools with solar energy.
Official sources told our Peshawar correspondent that in the first phase, eight thousand schools will be converted on solar system by the end of this year.
In the next phase, all the government schools in the province will be solarized.
