It's really eye-opening how well the memory of the man is maintained, he is a modern day legend.

In many of our countries we dismiss our founding fathers too quickly and forget the lessons they taught us.

Ataturk and men of his ilk came at a time when our nations were at a low ebb. They came and dragged their nations up from the abyss but most people do not know of the dark days that came before and in their naivety hearken to take us right back there again.

Some pretty decent pictures of the anniversary in resemblence of Kim Jong il funeral. Turkish Kemalist is seen kissing his grave extraordinary and mourning tearful to shape him as a savior which is actually disturbing and preferable renaming them as 'Ataturk worshippers' than being called as 'Kemalist'. Although, the world understood being felt modernized in Turkish society but never moved on with their life and whenever a single touch on the consitution written by Ataturk will trigger uproar among Kemalist civilians and example provided of the neo-Ottoman inspirer Erdogan attempted to infiltrate the consitution in a remarkable event of Gezi. At least, neither of the world worship or sees as a savior to Churchill, Roosevelt or the symbolic leaders of the 20th century.

Warning: Contains Disturbance.

Disclaimer: I'm not here to attack but rather an advice to move on with their life. Neither the followers of British, French, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish Empires or the Emperors cared once the abolishment and the emergence of independence so now do their people have their own version of what the Turks do?
What is your objective?
Comparing Ataturk to kim jong il?
We are not worshipping,we are showing respect.
We dont need your advice, post reported!

Absolutely make sense now, I just mentioned being crossed a line on Ataturk will cause a huge uproar among Kemalist. This is actually hilarious and sense of stupidity though.

I'm not a ''Kemalist'',this shows your intensions.
Go troll somewhere else.

I'm not a troll dude, Kemalist has something do with politics but i'm labelling it because there are Turks who is not interest nor care about Ataturk. Move on with your life, he was a human being, just a successful general and a politician who change society, neither any countries cared about the first who triggered revolutions or change socities in the past.

My son attends a Turkish school in Southern Africa. I did some reading on Ataturk. This man was a genius. A true Lincoln of his time and a visionary who did not cling to power but who used the power given to him to create a great nation. To the Yank dissing Ataturk, unlike the European revolutionaries of the past, he took something which was fragmenting and made a huge success of it. The same cannot be said of the European politicians and great leaders who merely preserved or amalgamated their nations. Ataturk can be placed in the same category as Lincoln. A man who didn't care about the consequences of his revolution knowing deep down that it was the right thing to do.

Your grammar is horrible even by American standards.

How about you move on with your life and let us decide what's good for us? You don't think of him as high as I do? Fine, you can have your opinion If I can have mine. So please accept and respect our opinion and let us commemorate our founding father on the anniversary of his death in peace without any dumb interference.
