I dont like it because it divides people. I am a Hindu but i dont want a tag around me that i am a Hindu, May be i just want equality where everyone is just human and not Hindus or Muslims.

'Internet Hindu' is great and i know what its about but how can we call ourselves secular when we are ourselves grouping up as Hindus?

Somehow i just hate it when people categorizes themselves on religion but then its my view.

How can calling yourself Hindu divide people ? Dont others call themselves Christians and Muslims ? It can divide people only if they do not accept your faith and want to change it.

Even if we call our-self as Hindu's how is it NOT secular ?

Do you also hate people categorizing themselves as Fair and Dark ? good looking and ugly ? rich and poor ? Upper caste and lower caste ? Educated or uneducated ? Short or Tall ? Man or Women ? Young or Old ? ................where does your hating this end ?

@navtrek ..... if its a feeling then its probably a reaction to the media bile against NaMo.

However if you want to look at it logically then you will see that he is a 62 year old Man with No Wife and No Kids. His mother lives alone in a small middle class house. NaMo has no contacts with his family nor has he EVER done any favors for them. He was born poor and have struggled ALL HIS life to make a living and do something positive for society.

There is absolutely NO MOTIVE for him to sell the whole country to the MNC.

....That is even if you disregard all that he has done for the BJP and for Gujarat.

If he can inspire me to fight for his cause then that is leadership. I am not even a gujarati nor do I live or work in Guajarat, nor am I a member of RSS or VHP. I am not a young college kid to get inspired by talks nor am I poor or belong to OBC to somehow relate to him.

Logically there is no reason for me to support him or fight for him. Still I do it, If that is not Leadership, then I don't know what is.

And I dare say I am not along in this fight .......a Large part of India seems to be with me.

Thanks buddy may be i feel this way because i have never seen him yet. If what you say is true then i am really happy its good for the nation

Church , Mosque, Church Cardinal, Pope, Bishop, Imam , Mullah , Muslim , Hafiz, Christian, Cross etc are Secular ...

while Hindu , Om , Baba, Sadhu, Pujari, Temple , Mandir , Girijaghar , Gurudwara , etc are Anti-Secular , Communal, Terrorism , Anti-Minority etc etc...

We should not because it causes communal divide and communal divide led to partition in 1947. People can be taken for a ride only my playing the religion card in India.

To be really honest i vote for a candidate and not for the party so it depends on who is going to stand from my region.

For the change to happen, their group has to accept that india comes first not religion otherwise there is unequality in thought.
How is it relevant here?if a large group of people who live inside a certain country have this idea that their religion comes first before the country.Jo khud bol raha hai ki main aisa hi hoon, to tum kyon usko apne secular side mein join karne ke liye bhaag rahe ho?(If they want to go on other path why run after them trying to change their path?)
