60.2 % of Indians not satisfied with their Govt response to China

The problem with China is that more people are not exported to Indians as dads. I guess Indians can raise 1 million dads instead of 100,000.
That's what happens when you learn science from the Little Red Book of Mao. Haha

We already have the XIV Corps in place. We have shifted some troops from XV Corps who were already deployed. The additional expense is of transportation and housing and food supplies. It will not break our economy.

Moral of the story - never take off your thinking cap.
Thank you Sir for your kind comments. In my sparse posts over the past many years, i don't think that i have even pretended to know a lot about military strategies and deployments. The presence of social media obfuscates the truth as much as absence of information used to a couple of decades back.

I've been reading that the 2002 standoff between Pak and India was more damaging for Pakistan than India in terms of economic losses. I assumed that the same will be true for India vs China, whatever be the motivation for China to behave in this way.

I'll accept your word that the deployment will not harm us much. Thanks.

After reading your post and the language in which it was couched, it is clear to me that I was somewhat cavalier in my response.

My sincere apologies.

Dear Sir,

Please don't embarrass me by apologising. I do know that you are given in to light sarcasm, and i didn't get particularly peeved with your reply.

This might shock and surprise you, but I am not Modi or in his Council of Ministers. I can only tell you what the general population feels. If he doesn't respond in proportion, he will find it tough in the next election. That's generally how democratic nations function.

nope he will still win ... bcos people in Pakistan and now China are praying for Surrender Modi rule India till its end...

I don't know what you think you achieved on Feb 27. From India's perspective India redefined it's response and Pak was caught napping on Feb 26. Yes, Pak shot down an Indian jet and captured Abhinandan on 27th during a counter attack. The only thing India ought to be ashamed of is shooting down its own chopper. Defence Minister should have resigned. If a Pak fighter had chased Indian jets back into India and been captured, I am sure Pak too would have considered him a hero.

Anyways, coming to China - if India really wants to increase the tempo, it can recognise Republic of China (Taiwan) and establish diplomatic relations. Militarily, the Chinese can push inwards into India with relative ease compared to India. @Joe Shearer can shed more light. But I think this has more to do with Chinese internal politics I think. Someone wanted to prove a point somewhere.

What we achieved ?...

A strategic shift once you saw your su30 and mig 21 blasted out of the sky like flies....

ie India did not retaliate after our counter strikes ....

Still not clear ?..

Remember your cold start doctrine ?... no?
Neither does any body ...

That's what happens when you learn science from the Little Red Book of Mao. Haha

Versus hindu RSS science ...

Oliver just nails it here .... this is too funny

Pakistan has a weaker economy than India what would you expect? However China has a stronger economy than India (especially in light of the COVID crisis) ... so India would stand to lose more.

1. I agree it is funny. I have shared the John Oliver video quite widely.

2. You and your commie overlords can pray all you like. At the end, it depends on the Indian voter.

3. Lol @ strategic shift and the SU 30. The only shift was you stopped cross border attacks out of fear.

The civilized democratic world considers them Chinese citizens -
https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/societ...ees-unhappy-with-chinese-nationality/43019492

If you have a problem, declare them Stateless citizens and revoke their citizenship. Or you can be a keyboard warrior while we feed 100,000 Chinese refugees who have begged their way into India.
There is nothing to revoke. Their not Chinese citizens, period. Don't believe me? Go ask them. The Indian Government is trying to grant them Indian citizenship but they want nothing to do with being Indian. They want to go back to China and the Chinese government is refusing to let them in. Some got back and are united with their families. It's not easy to get back to China's Tibet once you leave. :D

Lol. Nope. They are Chinese refugees. Spewing nonsense isn't going to change the fact that 100,000 Chinese refugees have begged to be let into India and we have given these Chinese citizens refuge.
If they are Chinese citizens the Government of China will surely allow them in. They're not. They left Tibet and are no longer Chinese.

Oh I am sure that Modi wanted a much tougher response, just like how I want to retire early and travel the globe in a private luxury yacht. We face a similar conundrum though, just as I lack half a billion USD in cash, Modi lacks soldiers that could, well, actually fight.
