dressed chicken is type of tandoori stuffed chicken which is cooked for 12 hours in wet dough/pastry

ooh man for a chicken this long cooking is too much i my self can cook believe any tandoori or any other chicken dish not take that much of time, only Kashmiri shab degh (a dish which requires slow cooking of full night) and nihari normally takes 4 to 6 hours.

i was talking about tandoori chicken afghan style (dont confuse it with tandoori chicked with almond & pista gravy) its in easy language a tandoori chicken stuffed with rice , almonds, Pista & kishmish with lots of spices packed inside a big ball of atta cooked for 12 hours (you have to order it a day before) try it im sure all kashmiri type chicken's or nihari will look like veggies after having it

I really doubt that it requires that much time, even i my self pit roast full Bakra (Goat) only in 2.5 hours

Probably they called in north as in Chennai, I lived their for 4 years we get dressed and skinless chicken

Dressed chicken means cleaned chicken. Many shops in Kerala also have boards showind "with/without dressing -charges" displayed. In the case of meat, different shops exists for selling meat of cow, buffalo, mutton etc.

What d'you mean? What do we have to do with Punjabis? Some of them come to our state and drive buses and taxis, others worked in industry (and generally took over - hard to keep down a Punjabi on the make), and that was about it. OTOH, if you are looking for reliable medical treatment, even today, in UP, Haryana, Punjab, I notice that they advertise 'Bangali doktor'. Or accountant, without being advertised so. Or engineer. Or journalist.
