Scary thought. I have been to this field as well, although didn't get to stay at the plant.

For people who don't know, the wells themselves are very scattered. Located km's from any other human being, they only have 1 or 2 local security guards (not really well trained) who just sit there and their main purpose is not to let wildlife or civilians within the fenced area near the wellhead.

I remember that my colleague got rocked when an SLB rig came under fire (RPG) in Balochistan (I think it was Zarghun well) but not sure, it was a Mari petroleum site. A mari seismic survey team also got kidnapped in NW.

When I used to go to Sui or Kandhkot even, and also to other MOL wells (Manzalai or Makori) we had an FC escort along with us and moved in convoys only.
