India has been rapidly developing for the past few years. But there have been few difficulties like low literacy rate, low per capita income, corruption, lack of infrastructure etc etc that has stopped India from emerging out as a Superpower. But with the coming New Year, comes new hope for India to fight against these evils. As the new plans for coming year suggest, even if India does not become a Superpower by the end of 2015, it will still definitely take a long leap towards becoming one. The 6 reasons which make me think so are:

Increase in literacy and more exposure to technology – New plans from our new government like “Saakshar Bharat” program and “Digital India” plan can certainly give boost to literacy rate and digitalization in our country. Digitalization will itself also help in improving literacy rate by giving people the exposure to Wikipedia, Quora and Youtube universities. Moreover with Mark Zuckerberg’s word of helping our country with his free Internet.org mission, we do can expect a lot in the technological and digitalization field coming up.

Fight with corruption – Media is really fighting against corruption these days. With more and more number of scams being found out, the corrupt officials are in for some bad days (You must know about the recent case of Yadav Singh.) This increased awareness from government, law enforcement, media and common man too would indeed help us in removing corruption from our country in the coming years. Also with Narendra Modi taking up corruption seriously in international meetings too, it does seem like this man is serious in fighting against this evil.

Allying up with major superpower countries – Our ties have been improving out well with Superpower countries like USA, Japan and Australia too. Ties with Australia which became a bit blurry for the past few years have now brighten up again that may also improve the trade relationship between the two countries. With India’s rising energy needs, we desperately need Australian UraniumJapans relation with India has been very pleasant too. As a matter of fact, Japan’s President follows just 4 people on Twitter, and guess who is one of them, it’s our own Narendra Modi. :D The improved ties with USA are no secret too. You do know who is next year’s 26th Jan chief guest, right? :P

Building of new cities – The Modi government has an ambitious plan to build 100 smart cities, and that is what India needs for its growing middle class population which is its backbone. The new planned cities will guarantee a better lifestyle and increased rate of development to our people.

Increased foreign investment – The boom in Foreign direct and as well as Indirect Investment has been all over the news recently. More and more number of foreign investors are investing in Indian corporations and even startups. Real estate has also been a booming sector in this case. How websites like Flipkart and Snapdeal are getting more and more investments may not be a surprise to you. Well, same is the case for other sectors. With increased foreign investment, what we are getting is not only money, but also the technology to fuel our growth rapidly. And rapid growth is just what India needs to become the next Superpower.

We have NAMO – Yes, we have Narendra Modi leading us during this time. After so many years, has India got a leader who exhibits some leadership qualities and a man whom the world recognizes and respects. With his ambitious plans like “Make in India” campaign, “Swacch Bharat” Campaign and “Jan Dhan” Yojana, we can definitely expect some action from him to make India emerge out as a SuperPower.

India becoming a super duper power within 3 months is inevitable. Modern day civilization was single handedly built by the Indians, and since history repeats itself, India will reclaim its lost glory. The wheel was built by the ancestors of modern day Indians. Al-gebra was also invented by them. World's first aircraft, the Virmana, was built by Indians as far back as Mahabharata! Christopher Columbus sailed west because he read Indian maps. When he reached the Americas, he found Indians living there already, but since Indians were and are a peaceful people unlike the barbarian white race, most of them living in Americas were killed by the colonists. When most white people feared the alps, the Indians of Machu Pichu made advanced cities at high altitudes.

World's first book on grammar was written by an Indian named Panini, who was born in Charsadda, India. Panini's younger brother, Pingala also born in Charsadda invented the fibonacci numbers and 0, but an Italian wretch claimed all the credit for his inventions. World's first university was built in Taxila, India, by the Indians. Indian irrigation and drainage system, as seen in the town of Harappa near Lahore, India, was at least a 4000 years ahead of it's time. The rulers and scales found in Moenjodaro, India were almost as accurate as modern day rulers credited to white men. White man stole many ayurvedic drugs from India, including penicillin, and took all the credit. World's first recombinant insulin was made by an Indian guy named Vikram in 100,000 BC when the white man still looked like a monkey.

When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, he already found an Indian astronaut placing India's flag there. But since Indians are a peaceful people, and the white man is a sneaky barbarian, Neil Armstrong stabbed the Indian astronaut, who got there first, to death. Before Indira Gandhi could tell the world of this barbaric act, the illuminati killed her and again, the white race stole India's contributions to the world. Neil Armstrong burnt the Indian flag already found there. India will take revenge when it reaches super power status you Americans!
