Suicide bombings have reduced - nearly ceased. Many parts of FATA are safe. SWAT is safe. Chitral is under-threat but FC is already present in the area to keep terrorism at bay.

They were probably unarmed in any case since they were camped there as a search party.

its not over until occupation of Afghanistan ends and we completely seal off Afghan border which has never been done. there are no set rules in fighting terrorism, they go in hinding just on their own accord or when they are under pressure but they can come back adn resume whenever they find it easy.

so I dont agree with the notion that just because terrorists have stopped their daily attacks it entirely means that they are crushed. they have suffered losses no doubt but they go underground to recuperate, reorganise and plan for next time.
they dont hold the lines or occupy some sentimental positions.

attacks like these dong give them any strategic advantage, it causes alarm among public but while doing that they can make mistakes and thats the end for them.

remember, law enforcement agencies can afford to make mistakes because they represent the state, they have resources, manpower and public with them. terrorists just cant afford to make a single mistake
whenever they do its their last mistake and they are either killed or captured.

normally you wont hear stories of their capture, it might happen when Asma Jahangir decides that certain terrorist has been "mistreated" by the agencies and some bleeding heart will make a thread over it and you will also find out about some poor terrorist under the boot of the agnecies.

same goes for doctors, teachers and preachers who continue to do their job despite the threats of the taliban, many have been killed and they are also termed as martyred.

I am very much glad that media is now showing biases towards the defenders of the country and doesnt show Taliban as the true representatives of Islam. we have enough biases during the Red Mosque operation already where Media played with the emotions and acted as a freelance mouthpiece of terrorists inciting hated and unrest against the army and spawning a lot of wannabe terrorists.

I can really live with such media bias. I would also call those children martyrs who died during Taliban attack on school buses and classes. I will also call lady health workers and women police martyrs who were killed by Taliban due to their gender.

We hope to see the ones responsible caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law. It is no secret that the nation of Pakistan has been plagued with terrorism in recent times. We regularly see terrorist organizations like the TTP and the Haqqani network claim responsibility for their terrorist attacks. They’ve left very little to ponder regarding their evil motives. These terrorists are fully focused on destabilizing the country for the sake of achieving their evil agenda. Yet, we continue to fall victim to conspiracy theories, and many of us fail to separate facts from fiction. We have repeatedly said that we cannot have a stable region without a stable Pakistan. GUJRAT: Armed miscreants attacked the camp of security forces near River Chanab, killing six military personnel and a policeman, Geo News reported.



According to police, three officials were also injured in the attack.



The camp was set up a month ago to search the body of a Major, drowned in the river.

Centcom, Pakistan is a land of conspiracy theories because the people are uneducated and all the politicians are corrupt and thus people will always need to add their own twist to everything just to think they have the upper hand in everything.

So while the higher military echelons will not believe this nonsense of USA supporting TTP, the problem is that the mid-level commanders and the public in large are easy prey for this conspiracy nonsense.

The only way for Pakistan to go after these terrorists is to get Saudi Arabia and China to put pressure on Pakistan to go after these terrorist havens.

While Pakistanis can very easily invent conspiracy theories against the west, they will have a real hard time coming up with ones in which China and Saudi Arabia have turned against them. Even the great Zaid Hamid (Pakistan's version of Glenn Beck and Donald Trump) will blow his fuse when he hears that China and Saudi Arabia have turned against Pakistan. Its only then when Pakistan will actually do something.

That is the only way.

Army camp attack: Pamphlet vows more attacks if NATO supplies continue – The Express Tribune

LAHORE: Militants have threatened to carry out more attacks on soldiers and government installations similar to Monday’s assault on an army camp in Gujrat, according to a pamphlet found by the police.

More attacks were forthcoming if Nato supplies were not closed, an intelligence agency report cited the pamphlet as saying.Another intelligence agency’s report stated that terrorists linked with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) involved in Pir Chambal incident were planning more attacks on government installations.

The agency’s report reads “……an unregistered motorcycle with a time bomb was found and the bomb was defused. At 7:30 am on Monday, a hand grenade lying in bushes also exploded but caused no damage, police found a pamphlet in which it has been threatened that their activities would continue in future due to restoration of Nato supply.”
