More and more NATO soldiers are dying in a pointless conflict, a conflict with no military solution. This is going to hurt NATO's PR campaign in Afghanistan and the message that things are turning out alright.

War is no solution. Soviet invasion, Taliban and the NATO occupation is no solution. Afghanistan needs a healing touch like any other country.
However, if the NATO forces leave without any reconciliation Afghanistan could be partitioned. It may also become a Saudi vs Iran and Pakistan vs India battle ground.

I never thought I would say this, but if that were to happen Taliban would destroy everything Afghans fought for.
Extremists (regardless of their religion or sect) must be stopped at all costs.
falsification as always.. first picture is before Russians and below could be any time or during Russian occupation.
There were no Taliban until the war lords of northern alliance.
BTW.. what are the chances of Russian hand in today's blast?
