By this I'm guessing you mean Jerusalem should be divided between Israel and Palestine.
By this I'm guessing you mean Jerusalem should be divided between Israel and Palestine.
What we'll have then is another India-Pakistan situation in that region, where a neighboring Israel and Palestinian state exist, both extremely hostile to each other.
You really think this works best? You think once Palestinians get their own state, they're going to keep quiet and be happy with the small piece of land they have? Or will they strengthen their army, and try another go at Israel?
By making two nations in that region, this conflict will only draw on longer.
No I did not say that .... Israelis can keep it..... Just allow visits to all who wish to visit it.... That is my opinion.
Do you or anyone else have a better idea ?
Well its not getting any shorter by not giving them their independence..
Israel been banging her head like crazy and stomping her tail all over the place..But they still manage to infiltrate Israel and do what they want.
Tell you what...Israel like any other Capitalist country of the world is in bad shape economically...and that is obvious from the mass protests..
Its a good ploy to calm down the people and "Let" a few Palestinians come to Israel and kill a few israelis..
Its a great distraction and works...But mind you it wont solve Israeli Financial problems, and the cost of another heavy handed war on Gaza will worsen the situation..
But politicians can stoop to any lows only to save their seat..
Damn, those Israelis really live in a nutshell eh?
Bengalis felt that well in 1971.we didnt have the problem since the day we were created..Unlike israel who had it since day one and no end in sight...
Plus we are considerate people...
Killing 5 terrorrists in surgial strike = carpet bombing.we dont carpet bomb people's homes based on one suicide bombing we do it in a much better way than israel..
Unlimited support? Every time we start some operation UN emergency session gathers to condemn us.If a country with unlimited support from the world's most powerful nations...

Large scale terror is stopped long time ago. Today the number of people who die in terror attacks is about 100 times less than in traffic accidents. Overall Israel has one of the highest life expectancies in the world.cannot stop
No one is hungry in Gaza. The humanitarian situation there is much better than in Pakistan.a bunch of hungry

Jerusalem (CNN) -- At least six people were killed and more than two dozen others were injured in southern Israel when attackers fired shots at a bus, assaulted Israeli soldiers, and fired mortars and an anti-tank missile.
The assault occurred about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Israeli city of Eilat -- close to the Israeli-Egyptian border. Israeli soldiers exchanged gunfire with the assailants, described by the Israel Defense Forces as "terrorists."
An Israeli emergency official said six people died. Four were found in a private car and one was at a nearby scene. A sixth man was found dead as well.
At least 26 people were admitted to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat, including one with serious injuries. Three injured people were transferred to Soroka hospital in Beer Sheva. The IDF said casualties included civilians and soldiers.
The incident began when shots were fired at a vehicle on a bus traveling from Beersheva to Eilat, near the community of Netafim.
IDF spokesman Brig. Gen. Yoav Mordechai said that after the bus attack, explosives were used against an IDF force operating in the area.
Mortars were fired toward Israeli troops near the Egyptian border, and an anti-tank missile was fired, Mordechai said.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak met to discuss the "grave attacks," the prime minister's office said.
"In light of what's happening near Eilat, our deepest condolences go out to the victims, their families and loved ones, of what appears to be a brutal and cowardly act of terrorism in southern Israel," the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv said.
"We wish those injured a speedy recovery. The American people and the Israeli people stand united against terror and we hope that those involved in the planning of this gruesome attack will be brought to swift justice."
Eilat is a resort town on Israel's southern tip, near Egypt's Sinai border. It generally has not endured the kind of strife faced by other regions including the swath of southern Israel near Gaza -- the coastal Palestinian territory just south of the Jewish state along its west coast.
Across the border, the Egyptian army and police are cracking down in an "anti-terror" operation in the Sinai area of Egypt, state-owned media reported on Tuesday, as reports emerge of Osama bin Laden's doctor surfacing in the area.
Police said they found hand grenades, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition in the operation that targets Sinai "terror cells" suspected in attacks on a gas pipeline to Israel and a police station in the border town of el-Arish.
One person was killed and 12 were arrested on Monday, the first day of the operation, said Hazem al-Maadawi, a police officer involved in the offensive.
Netanyahu told a Knesset committee recently that Egypt was having difficulty exercising its sovereignty over Sinai.
"What's happening in Sinai is that global terrorist organizations are meddling there and their presence is increasing because of the connection between Sinai and Gaza," Netanyahu said.
The Egyptian military presence in the demilitarized zone in Sinai under the Camp David Agreement signed in 1978 between Egypt and Israel raises many questions.
Assalam alaikum
All of a sudden an attack and some killing i wonder if there is a link between the demonstration going on in israel
TARIQ
Yea just wait now to see Israel with a disproportionate attack and kill innocent children women as usual. Gadaffi cant be allowed to kill but Israelis can thats why we hate you west. You will now say Israel is defending itself.
The Palestinian movement was not for the Holy Land but for their "LAND" and self respect.......
It was a secular movement with many Christian Arabs among it
