6 Days Long Visit of Pakistan Defence Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain



Pakistan, Turkey pledge to promote defence cooperation


ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP): Turkey and Pakistan pledged to intensify efforts for further promoting their defence cooperation during talks held between visiting Federal Defence Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain with his Turkish counterpart Ismet Yimaz in Ankara on Wednesday. Both sides discussed various proposals for transfer of technology, possibility of export of defence equipment and services as the two defence ministers led their respective delegations in talks.Rana Tanveer Hussain is visiting Turkey from January 28 to February 3 on the invitation of Turkish leadership. During his visit Defence minister briefed the hosts about the initiatives and progress made by Pakistan in defence production sector, said a message received from Ankara here.

TAI, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, MKEK, MILSOFT, FNSS

The program of the Pakistan delegation also includes visits and detailed briefings at the TAI, Military Electronic Industries of Turkey (ASELSAN), Turkish Military Software Corporation (HAVELSAN), Machinery and Chemical Industries (MKEK), MilSOFT, FNSS Defense Systems.
