Oh! That's too high. You should immediately ask your govt to stop sending Pakistanis to India for medical treatments and surgeries, which are unavailable in your country. You wouldn't want Pakistani kids to be operated by fake doctors for liver transplants or open heart surgeries.

Do you know how much has WHO (a UN body) helped India, which has a 7 decade working history with WHO?

India is Polio free, thanks to WHO help which provided the guidelines, technical advice & expertise.

To not believe WHO is akin to not believing your own professor who did guide you to write thesis.

Try to understand what i am saying.... I am not against WHO or do not appreicate what they have been doing or what they have done to India...... The point is the report is a misleading one or the problem is being exaggerated......57% is not possible.......you mean to say the doctor you see every day are fake (atleast 57% of them)???

How many times you have checked your own doctors degree every time you visited him/her?

Even Indian PM does not have one, for him to flaunt and shut the mouth of his opponents.
And we are talking of doctors?

See, Firstly the number of Medical seats in Medical Colleges is very low. It is because to study medicine requires high cost in Pvt. medical college. The Govt colleges cannot increase seats because of the same high cost of running it. Its only the central Govt. which sets up AIIMS here and there. The state Govt. cannot set up because of financial burden. There is only chance remaining Pvt. Sector which takes heavy money as it also requires fund to run it.

So basically its a quagmire. Do, your are damned and Don't do you are damned.

I have one of the many solution. Why not convert each district level Hospitals in India to have a minimum of 50 seats MBBS course. All you require some hostels and some class rooms. And whoever graduates from there only can practice medicine, ortho and some basic ailment. No MD course for them. There are students who do not get med course after three attempts also but want to study medicine. In that way we can have basic facility in at least rural areas.

WHO report says 57%. It may be correct. It is like this. The report never says how many doctors are there in India. Many Indians go abroad and studies in Countries like China, Russia, Ukraine, Bangladesh etc. They offer cheap degree. when they come back, they have to appear a screening test run by MCI and less than 25% get passed. The remaining 75% practice any way by hanging there foreign degrees in there clinic. But they know some basic medicines and knowledge. The gullible rural patients do not know and gets the treatment. If you are cured you are good and if not you die. The WHO has also looked at those doctors.

And BTW many doctors who are produced by renowned Pvt. or Govt. colleges make to developed countries just like IITs.

If Indian members thinking i posted just to make fun of India Sir this was not the case at all even in Pakistan situation is far more worst than India.

nearly 60 to 70% people / patients get treatment from quakes who never visited any local or foreign even fake university.

Becuse fake Doctors can't pose as surgeons of heart and liver. They just practice G.P doctor you got it what i want to say.

New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, the World Health Organisation (WHO), in its recent report, has revealed that more than half of Indian doctors are not medically qualified.
The report titled 'Health Workforce in India' claimed that around 31% of those who claimed to be allopathic doctors in 2001, had studied till secondary school level, whereas some 57% did not have any medical qualifications, the Hindu reported.
The WHO report also revealed that in rural India, only 18% of the allopathic doctors had a medical qualification.

The study based on the data collected from all districts during the 2001 census also showed that 60% of Ayurvedic doctors and 46% of Unani doctors had medical qualifications. Whereas, only 42% of homepathy practioners were found to be medically qualified.

The report also revealed that only 42.3% of denists in India had a medical degree.

The WHO report also found that women workforce in health sector was better educated than their male counterparts, with 67% of females having a medical qualification compared to 38% of males.

Sounding an alarm on India's already dismal doctor-patient ratio, the WHO report reduces the figure from 80 doctors/lakh population to 36 doctors/lakh population.

Allopathic quakes just give approved tested medicines which they are not authorize to prescribe but these neem hakim develop medicines by their own and distribute in masses with flashy labels target much more innocent people. You got what i want to say. Quakes of allopathic medicines are little bit less dangerous they broke the law by not having or knowledge of proper medical degree but these Hakim unani do both wrong things don't have degree plus poisonous medicines.
