A dazzling display of drills by the Indian Air Force at the Gateway of India, Mumbai on 11th March marked the 50th anniversary of the 1965 India-Pakistan war. The event, which was organised by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, was part of various functions organised across the country to commemorate the war anniversary. An Air Warrior Drill Team of 13 people, which has been specially selected for the task, was also part of the event. Photos: Paul Noronha

I remember how Pak forces retreated when Indian forces captured Dograi and stopped by PM just before entering Lahore.

Both sides won
Only one of the winners ended up with a trophy of 100 destroyed and captured tanks at assal uttar, while their opponents were out of ammo and begging for ceasefire.

The very fact that you ended up fighting for Lahore itself is a testimony to your military failure of gloriously liberating all of Kashmir from the evil hands of the Indian military!

We defended J&K with success.... the last time I checked the map, it was a state of ours.

So I would say that we won because we achieved our objectives. You not.

No body won the war.

Because no body wins wars. There are losers on both sides, the people lose, families lose, economies lose.

The reason for which nations go to war remain even after the wars.
