What's new

500 years ago, China destroyed its world-dominating navy

I certainly did not expect the people of Vietnam to be so proud of the outdated weapon systems purchased from India, but I suppose your troops are in dire need of training.

VN is co-operating wt India to build a stronger than ever VN navy-air forces in the region now ( India train VN sub marine crews, Su-30 pilots, more Mass destruction weapons from India sending to VN).
So are you seriously trying to imply that Vietnam actually owns weapons of mass destruction here?

I think he was just joking. Very few Vietnamese with serious mind consider India as a reliable partner and a source of quality weapons.

It can be true. Atleast in 10th century there are records where Cholas and the Chinese maintained regular ambassador contacts, and in lieu of friendship the Chinese emperor offered their best sea going vessel designs to the Cholas who improved upon it to conquer South East Asia.

With "outdated" weapons, we still control Laos-Camb since 1979, many Laos-Camb generals are Vnese. VN small ships still kick Chinq oil rig protected by a huge fleet out of Parscel water in SCS ( east sea) in oil rig conflict.

All Cnese can do is just go to internet and talking nonsense while CN economy still going down badly wt millions jobless workers .

Too bad the economy of Vietnam is significantly more reliant on China, so for your delusions to come true it will end up being harmful for your country as well. By the way, you should read up on the actual growth figures instead of sprouting out fiction, as our economy still outpaced yours by half a percent last year in spite of being much larger and more developed. In any case, Vietnam is left further and further behind at this current rate.
