What's new

50 pc of Fortune 500 cos to have MNC centre in India by 2015

Is this a good news by all sense. GOI might be doing good in attracting the big guys but they are giving less support for entrepreneurs in areas other than IT. It will make new generation to find a comfort zone and remain there for ever. Here in Kerala there is something called startup village but again only IT guys benefit from it.

That's the law of economics. That's why poverty has increased in India after it gave up Nehru's socialism and appointed WB/IMF appointee MMS as Finance Minister.

.

Lol, let's not even refer to FACTS that since 1991 India has seen a dramatic REDUCTION in poverty levels, since 2000 India has been pulling out ~1% (~10,000,000 Indians) of the poverty-stricken out of such conditions, India is one of only TWO nation on the planet set to meet the UN's MDGs on poverty alleviation and that India has the fastest growing MIDDLE-CLASS (not ultra rich) of any nation on the planet.

Within the next 30 years (actually much sooner by many counts) extreme poverty in India will be all but eradicated.

Also let's not mention that since India "abandoned Nehru's socialism" life expectancy has more than DOUBLED in India.

Also when poverty levels were ~55-60% after the British left in 1947, to bring it to ~30% today is a commendable achievement.

Can you show me any proof poverty has actually worsened since MMS became Finance minister?

Once again @asad71 pulls facts out of thin air and fabricates utter lies to detract from India's achievements.

Stay classy dude.

That speciment is seriously delusional. A few days ago it claimed CNN reported something (ridiculous obviously) and I asked it for a link, and the fool went all hindu this and dropadi and hanuman that and general BD section guttermouth on me.

He needs to be in a special facility.

Apartt from the fortune 500, there are medium one's and even start ups who enter, I know of many of them in BLR.

btw, ignore the BDian, they operate funny, its always reverse logic for them and not just in writing.

Its seems your knowledge in economics is very poor. No country can make all citizen as per level of Ambani. Or Bangladesh is in process to make all citizen as rich as Ambani? :omghaha:
Read some Economics.

.
1. Attractions: cheap labor and graft-ridden / manageable political leaders / bureaucrats.

2. India's ****** rich will become more ****** in the process. However, the poor who cannot become poorer, will increase many-fold in numbers.

I agree with the first point.

The second point is not valid. I came from a poor backround so did all my friends we have good access to education and education loans which are give purely on merit finished education now working :) things are great opportunities are many.

Its good to know things will improve.

Lol the first problem/issue you learn about in Economics is the problem of finite resources and ever growing demands on these resources. What a fool.

Respect sir, surely there is no better answer to the idiot than this. Bettering yourself through education and in turn bettering the lives of yourself and family, that is the Indian dream as it were.
