these 50 are under the agreement of the urgent delivery 50 JFT made in may 2012.after the obl raid

50 more JFT to be manufactured in PAC as well

I think you missed out the 6 Nuclear subs and 36 J10B fighters, I think the Chinese engineers are tightening up the screws on the J10B as we speak , and training for our Pilots on J11

After the OBL raid the USA was giving threatening vibes and then the Chinese issued a statement followed by emergency delivery of 50 jf-17 to Pakistan.

If that's the case, why the JF-17? They are no match to American F-18s and F-22s!

Secondly PAF jf-17s does not use all the Chinese equipment as most of people here believe even the antennas on the jf-17 are not Chinese origin its from a european country , i dont mention the name of the country as i am restricted for that . but yes radars are of Chinese origin which now Pakistan has been manufacturing in house for some time now . So there is no point of all the major components coming directly from China .So dont ask repeated questions

Really its being some great lack of work at PAC that instead which was expected didn;t happend:
Like we all were expecting that the PT-06 will have composite air frame with retractable in flight refueling probe along with RD-93B(RD-33MKK) and more over Institute of Optronics will do JV with Chinese to produce IRST for all the defence force that will enable us to have FLIR and IRST pod on Block-Is. Later on with all this we expected that after that super PT06 we will going to see the first flight of Dual seat in 2007 or early 2008 and local production will begin in 2009 and till 2013 we will have:
80 JF-17 Block-I(Single seat)
30 JF-17 Block-I(Dual seat)
35-55 JF-17 Block-I(Dual seat for AJT role)

Block-I: Composite air frame with Retractable inflight refueling probe, FLIR with IRST from (JV of Institute of Optronics with Chinese), RD-93B(RD-33MKK) being locally assembled with Russian help that have 3D TVC. Although if we if we producing 145-165 JF-17s in first phase then we might require about 200 RD-93B(RD-33MKK) and for that purpose Russians might allow to locally assembly. All this can be achieved if PAC have forced the GoP to give them money to make facilities and to produce the jets at home from local as well as supplied parts.

There is point that will all that goodies the cost won't be $18 million per piece and thats true but it would have a maximum cost of about $23 million per piece which is still not bad compare to $60 million of F-16 Block-52s. The money of about $1 Billion spend on F-16 Block-52s can be spend on getting the 24 Venuezvalian F-16 Block-15s and also 28 from the US and upgrading all the 83 in Turkey starting from 2003/2004 and completing till 2009 which would have added great capability.

J10 cost 4 times the cost of JF17....
