5 year old girl raped, India

Thane: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teenager, who was her neighbour in Janaki Pada area in Thane, police said today.

The accused, Janardhan Bind (19), who works in a local company, lured the girl with chocolates and took her to his house yesterday when her parents were not around, API G B Mali of Waliv police station said.

The incident came to light when the girl told her mother about the sexual abuse.

Bind has been arrested and booked under section 376 of the IPC and section 4 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.

What is there to discuss exactly? Crimes happen everywhere, there are criminals everywhere. What sort of discussion do you want to have about it?

The kind that happens when Pakistanis lose their lives everyday. Even I don't find much to comment on that but many people do. News gets reported here to be discussed if someone doesn't want to discuss they shouldn't.

If you are talking about Pakistanis losing their lives in a terror act, there is a lot to discuss about it, this being a defence forum. We could discuss which group is responsible, what was their modus operandi, what was their intent, who were the intended victims, what intel or policing work can prevent it in future, what should be the immediate response by the state, what long term solutions are possible to eliminate terrorism, and so on and so forth.

But putting up news about individual incidents of rape on this forum serves no purpose, there is nothing to discuss about it. If you believe otherwise, please let me know what in depth discussion you want to have about this incident, and we can go from there.

We are not shying away from discussing the issue ... but to enter a troll it's asking too much. A look at his signature will tell you how interested he is in the issue. And please get off the high horse and don't act like there are no rapes happening in Pakistan.

Then we might have to differ on that. There is a section for social and political affairs so it includes all news worthy items whether you and I like it or not. I don't think you would have said the same if it was a news item bashing Pakistan or maybe I am wrong but most Indians who have a problem with such rape threads usually don't when such threads are posted regarding Pakistan.
Yes a terrorist attack has much more to discuss but thats just one such example and I have seen Indians posting and even discussing on rape threads on Pakistan so why can't they do the same is what I don't get??
