reason why cauliflower gives gas is because it is high in sulphur just like garlic, onion, leek , broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, spinach etc.. enjoy farting which is harmless anyway
Ahh yes! Wait that is not with ghost...What is that pink / red colour ghost cooking type called?beetroot ko chokundar bolte hain Urdu main

Thank god I didnt go to that Uni...God bless you all!Alu Gobi is my and my brother's favorite vegetable dish since our childhood, even here in germany our university mess used to have one "desi" dish somtimes on the menu sometimes and you know what it was "Alu Ghobi" which shows the power of Gobi as signature of south asia.
I remember a Russian flatmate once made beetroot soup ...They usually add meat but just so I could have it he added beans instead....was yummy...It is called Chakandar in both urdu and punjabi, usually it is rarely used as salad in raw form, never saw anyone cooking it.
I actually like the mixture of meat with vegetables i.e Gobi Gosht/Palak ghosht/geema kareleAlu Gobi is my and my brother's favorite vegetable dish since our childhood, even here in germany our university mess used to have one "desi" dish somtimes on the menu and you know what it was "Alu Ghobi" which shows the power of Gobi as signature of south asia.

Wait thread is about pakora
..sometime aloo with vegetables and other time just to add meat with gobi and palak and qeema with mutar/ karele or green bell pepperBut in pakistan people usually mix alu with vegetables, like Alu Ghobi, Alu Palak, Alu Shalgam, Alu Baingan etc. But it is possible that richer families in big urban areas mix vegetables with meat. But believe me in rural and semi-urban areas of Punjab Pakistanis don't mix vegetables with meat, they always cook meat in its pure form, the only exception is Qeema which is often mixed with green peas or potato.
