Stollenberg talked up Turkey having the “second-largest army” in NATO and having a “capable” Air Force capable of being “first responders” in a conflict against Russia. It is unclear what metric Stollenberg was using to assess Turkey’s army in this way.

The whole notion of a conflict on this line stems from Russia’s air war against ISIS, and Turkish complaints that Russian planes briefly violated their airspace during one of their bombing runs. Russia insisted the violation was accidental, and Turkey responded by threatening to shoot down future Russian planes.

I don't understand that mentality, especially since all older Turkish F-16s have gone through CCIP modernization and share common LINK for net centric warfare. Give Turkey a few more years and they'll have in-house AESA radar, IRST and jammer pod.

F-16C/D Block30 will undergo an indigenous modernisation with "Özgür" Mission Computer, so far jamming Pod, IRST and AESA Radar can be integrated. CCIP is important to extend the structural Life and bring the Avionics on the Standart of Block52+ Configuration.

Yeah. It is possible to mark people invisible with radiation markers. I heard without evidence that those people can be targeted with high powet microwaves and will die of heart or brain stroke
