SF are called as last resort to minimize the loss and take out enemies, if SSG lose more men than Punjab police than why waste so much resources on them ? just create LCB's in every Army unit and let them conduct the operations, of course they also have will to fight ? Just check out the operation history of major SF's like Seal's or SAS or even Turkish SF SSG is nowhere close to them, they lose men to BLA/TTP I bet even Jiye Sindh mahaz will give them tough time. Don't think I like them dying, I am just saying that myth behind number 1 ISI and number 1 SSG is gone, so rather than boosting for their bravery we should focus on saving their lives by giving them better training, so they can live to fight another day.

Bhai, no one even thinking to judge their intentions or patriotism. They are best of the best in Pak armed forces and we respect them so much. I think he only means is that there are many other special forces in the world with much better training & tech.

Don't get angry at PTI supporters. BLA also existed long before PTI. It is the Pakistani army and the political leaders that have never found a solution to the BLA problem.

The bad news is that by judging past record the Pakistani army is engaged in a long battle with no end in sight. To make matters worse, TTP is another terror group wreaking havoc. You should be worried where this is heading. Some say we are living in purana Pakistan if you know what I mean.

Almost in every IBO, there is recovery of sizeable caches of weapons, ammunition and explosives so that boat has already sailed. The material to make an IED can be had from shops or factories (ammonium nitrate/fertilizers) inside Pakistan. The immediate threat to address is IEDs through Counter-IED methods. Either FC isn't following SOP's or the necessary expertise and equipment is sparingly available.

So we should use LCB's instead, there is no need for SSG then ?

bhai budget ki baat nai hai , budget use kerne ki baat hai. SSG ka combat gear dekha hai ? For Argument sake lets put gears aside, but what about Strategy ? how many times they were sent into Operations, if you lose your men than do they even reflect on the mistakes that cost their fellow SSG lives ? Duniya ki har SF apni galatiyun se seekh leti hai and than they improve on their strategy which can be reflected from their performance in their next operations, but we have seen time and time again that any operation SSG conduct they ended up losing a man or two, SSG spends huge money on their 1 Commando's training etc and they are suppose to be best of the best, but if Best are dying like this than Army/Police/LEA ka tu Allah hi hafiz hai.

Why would i have Personal problem with SSG ? All I am saying if they lose men in hard missions that is understandable, but every time you hear SSG is brought in for some Operation that news ends with few of them dying, if they are the best of the best and if they are dying with that rate than there is no point, just close down SSG and merge it with some LCB unit and be done with it.

I agree with everything what you are saying, but all IEDs used are not of mentioned type. So I think better border control is required to stop weapons, explosives and humans.
