No, people converted to Islam because of the same reason the Arab pagans converted and the same reason people are converting to Islam to this day.So you are saying people converted for a title? Really?
You're really not getting the point. Once you drop your previous Hindu names/idendity - you'll need a Muslim name and surname. Just like how Muhammad Ali changed his name and surname to fit his new religion so did many Hindu converts to Islam did. Many high-caste Hindu converts changed their surnames to Arabic/Persian to signify their previous status such as Sheikh (meaning Lord, elder or religious scholar in Arabic). If I gave you a title, will you convert back to Hinduism?
Some tribes changed their caste-names to Muslim versions.
We are Pakistanis and Muslims; that's who we are and that's who we'll always be. I and many others here did not convert to Islam - our ancestors did; just like every single non-convert Muslim out there. Islam is a religion built by converts.Pakistanis should first decide who they are and why they converted.
That was one false-flagger Indian who claimed that; no one else. We don't care or talk about "racial superiority" at all; it's you Indians who obsess over it and constantly bring it up.On one hand you people claim that Pakistanis are lower caste Hindus who took Islam to get away from evil Hinduism while on the other hand claim that Pakistanis are racially superior Tall & fair skinned people and have nothing to do with short and black Hindus of India.
Lower-caste Hindus are almost all South Indians by race (Dravidians); maybe in South India it was possible but unlikely in Pakistan.
