You still haven't explained how trade deficit will stop Pakistan from purchasing pak bullets with money from exporting pharmaceutical products to India and then using those pak bullets against napak indian soldiers. Pakistan earns around one seventh in income from pharmaceutical exports to India that India earns from Pakistan. We therefore purchase one seventh of the bullets you purchase as per your initial contributions to the thread - just to remind you, the only error I made was offering genuine condolences to the victims of this tragedy, which I stand by despite your politicisation attempts and bizarre ammunition acquisition business case.

If you really want to understand, just study how trade between countries happens. Countries don't just exchange money directly. They have to buy dollars from the market to pay the other party. And these dollars are brought in their local currencies.

So a country which is net importer (pakistan), will need more dollars. This will worsen their forex reserves or put pressure on their currency. While the net exporter's currency will gain in strength.

If india and pakistan were producing their own weapons, the above wouldn't matter much. But since both import around 60-70% of their weapons, this will impact weapons procurement.
