5 countries issue travel advisories against India

Well we did hit them back in a way when our government issued travel advisory against Australia last year. If there is a sane government at top level, we can also properly politically retaliate. Guess too much boom in aviation industry in India was not being digested by the "older" world.

they are not putting it out because what indians will do to their citizens on diwali/ season.. get it?

Travel advisories dear class does not mean a ban on travel. Hmm- what is the reason for travel adverseries? terrorism and for what season is it for " diwali" - so aint hindu terorrism --- and where does a majority of secruity concerns come from? from the country where most of the posters above show such concern for india. I show genuine distaste for these countries showing an objection in travelling to India and you dont miss a trick in doubting my position to where i stand? Do me a favour make a comment about the thread and give your opinion on the facts but dont behave a girl and judge me because you dont know me well enough to judge me.
I am cheezed off that the UK are so quick to get a pact together consisting of themselves and their lacky boys to put question marks over India. Thats wrong. India is fully capable of managing their own issues.
There is over 1.2 billion people in India and they manage pretty well.
BTW do me a favour and dont stoop even lower by insinuating the issue lies with Pakistan. Dont be so pathetically gay. It doesnt suite you. We all have problems and i believe India have things under control. Now go and troll on another thread.

I dont think the travel advisory really speaks to "good or bad about India"

What it says is that there are risks in travelling to India at this season in particular since the terrorists have a penchant of causing trouble in the most festive of times in an effort to cause maximum damage/gain attention...

Apart from maybe losing some tourism revenue, this does little to the profile of India as a country...

A similar example would be the anniversary of 9/11 here in NYC....There was definitely beefed up security everywhere....and local channels aired the modes of transportation, locales etc that could be at risk...
Of course NYC locals were not deterred but it would have been irresponsible for the Govt. not to issue a warning....It looks bad on their part if something does happen and they had no clue about it...as with 9/11...

The news to me is making a mountain out of a molehill...

PS: On a side note, I do agree that western countries do give special mention to third world countries wrt. tourism....But then again, it is our mistake that we dont do the same when things like the London riots happen to these countries as well.

Neither have they the right to considering that half of these problems are because of their own creations and the second that the world didn't do the same when their countries were lolling their heads during the short stints of jihad that they faced. So either listen this way or stop doing such nonsense.

Issuing advisories doesn't solve problems. There are scores of business crowd coming from western world to India daily. That cannot be avoided just for the sake of potentials. Terror attacks are a global phenomenon because these 2 countries created it. They were the ones that fed it and now they are doing everything to run way from it. One shouldn't create monsters that one cannot control.

Well I won't be going to go on skin color but sadly it is their stupid governments that created all this nonsense 2 decades back. If the commoners had known this was going to happen, they'd certainly not have liked it even there.

Jay if you are gay thats a matter for you. If you think you have sussed out SK cos you are more clever than other indians on forum good for you. Back on topic I think white english speaking have shown disrespect to india by the travel alert. They often do this to third world countries. Sure there are dangers in india. But like i said earlier when there was IRA bombing UK did india issue alerts.
