46 Assam Muslim clerics issue fatwa against 16-year-old singer Nahid Afrin who sang against IS

Oh dear!! Check my posts properly... This is what I stated initially

"Any practicing muslim will support those statements.

I hope you got your answer."

And then this statement

"I am a practicing muslim, what answer do you want when you already got one"

Instead of saying all this you could have said that you don't agree with Anti Sharia events, it could have saved both of us all these one liners.

Anti Sharia events? That would be a sweeping statement. I like watching movies, ****, listen music, they are all anti-sharia but playing loud music in the vicinity of masjids, idgahs, madrassas and graveyards is something which crosses certain boundaries. Would you be ok if loud music is played out in the vicinity of temples other hindu religious places?

I agree with you, but would you support banning preaching of there is no god but so and so in the vicinity of temples?

That depends on how they preach, I don't mind people coming in the vicinity of mosques and present their views that are adverse to Islam, I am open to debate, so should others. If you are confident about your beliefs, why get rattled when you are questioned over it.

So you are against only musical events not preaching of other religion in the vicinity of mosques?

So tell me how do you intend to compare playing loud music with someone preaching/discussing ideas different than yours?

So you support Sharia compliant events around mosques. I wonder if puja around mosques in mathura and kashi fall under this criteria?

Why should Indians bother about Fatwas issued in / by other nations ? At best they may have a academic interest about them. They naturally would be concerned about those issued within their nation against Indians.
First of all none of them issued fatwa or supported ISIS and that is a simple appeal... For issuing fatwa their is proper rules and regulation in Islam..
I mentioned fatwa against ISIS from all over the world including India...
These things should be highlighted because it will dismantle terrorist organisation like ISIS.. but unfortunately some countries wants to use that as tool against despite the fact that it has nothing to do with Islam..

The mosque near my house blares 5 times a day 365 days a year without a care in the world . Diagonally opposite the mosque is a temple to Durga where they now have navratri celebrations - garbha et al minus loudspeakers (which used to be the practise until a few years back ) with the pack up time being 11 ( it used to stretch upto 2 earlier )

So, my dear , civic sense is what others bloody well practise .The religion of the peaceful are obviously exempted from it .

What is sharia compliant? Where are you trying to take this conversation to? I don't think, there would be any issue if puja is done in temples which are in vicinity of mosques. There are many such places where temples and mosques are in closer vicinity.

Minus loudspeakers:o:. They must be playing Garba with headphones on I guess(ala The Breakup Song), Anyways I also have a temple near my colony which continuously plays loud bhajans and pujas for atleast 2-3 hours a day. And during their festivities, that goes to 6-8 hours a day. Really irritating and much worse than the 5 minute blaring 5 times a day. And I don't see the civic sense from the followers of the "oldest" religion. Not sure if they are exempted or if its the sense of entitlement.

Thank you for the compliment.Never though t you'd be so magnanimous .Did the recent election results have something to do with your change of thought process ? Me thinks yes.

You ought to sue those temple authorities .Here I've enclosed a link for your benefit : Use it & get a court order banning those rascals .

Btw - concerned citizens here approached the police too complaining about noise pollution in account of the loud speakers blaring from the mosque but "minorty ism" won.The police were most reluctant to force the issue after a couple of polite requests failed to address it. Result , most followers of the "oldest" religion voted the BJP this time in the just concluded municipal elections & threw out the congress after almost 30 years .Yes , you read it right . Needless to say , Followers of the peaceful religion were shocked .They always saw themselves as custodians of secularism , similar to all the followers of the peaceful religion in all such lands where they are in a minority ( read below 20%) apart from being sole custodians of the "swing " vote .why should our little suburb be an exception ?

Btw - maamu jaan , isn't use of loudspeakers considered to be bid'ah, especially if the believers happen to be from your sect - the wahabbi / salafi or in this case Ahl e Hadith ?

Compliment you? Naah bhayyaji khayali pulav mat pakav.. Tum jaison ko mera compliment bahot rarely milta hai and this is not that rare moment.

Sue the temple authorities and earn the wrath of the followers of world's "oldest" religion who will then attack like a pack of dogs(sometimes they come in thousands) aka Naroda Patiya style. Naah I will tolerate this sh!t:(. Don't want this to happen

Well, I take back my objections , possibly was misled by the title which mentioned Fatwa.

However , my objections to the appeal remain, reasons - the mention of the word Sharia which has no locus standi in India , the selective objection raised citing proximity to Mosques, Graveyards etc ( I have visited countless Bars & Discos next to Graveyards & religious places and the in principle objection to those objecting to a young girl doing what she pleases.

Word Sharia is authentic in India as per your constitution... Muslim personal law board is based on this word..
Second if someone appeals than whats is wrong in this.. if someone likes they will stop and not they will carry on..
After all there are several laws prevent many eating of their choice despite exporting these stuff...
